摘要： The present invention relates to a substrate having an organic metal complex bonded on the surface thereof, which is prepared by the vapor deposition of a sulfur atom onto a substrate followed by bonding of an organic metal complex such as tetrakis-triphenylphosphine palladium [Pd(PPh3)4] to the surface of the substrate; a substrate bonded transition metal catalyst using said substrate; and a method for the preparation thereof. The above substrate and metal catalyst allow the solution of some problems with respect to the safety and stability of an organic metal complex in its use, the removal of trace amounts of metals in a reaction product, waste water treatment and the like.

摘要： An electrical connector comprises a contact having a wire connection member and a mating contact receiving end. The mating contact receiving end includes an abutment edge and an inclined portion. A housing has a contact receiving opening with a contact receiving end. The housing has a projection extending into the contact receiving opening and a first bevelled surface opposing the projection. The first bevelled surface is arranged closer to the contact receiving end than the projection. The inclined portion engages the first bevelled surface to bias the abutment edge into the projection when the contact is incorrectly inserted into the contact receiving opening.

摘要： A connector assembly comprises a connector and a wire guide. The connector has a lock arm. 摘要： Supporting pieces (42) on side surfaces of a waiting-side connector (20) are insertable into supporting grooves (15) of a casing (10). Contact projections (47F, 47R) are on one outer wall surface (46) of each supporting piece near the upper end and bottom ends. A squeezable projection (55) is on an outer wall surface (44) opposite from the outer wall surface (46) where the contact projections (47) are provided. The squeezable projection (55) has a substantially triangular cross section and contacts a wall surface (13A) of the supporting groove (15) as insertion of the supporting piece (42) into the supporting groove (15) progresses. A tip of the squeezable projection (55) is squeezed at a final stage of the insertion to engage the supporting piece (42) with the supporting groove (15). Accordingly, the waiting-side connector (20) is supported in the casing (10) without shaking.

摘要： An attempt to fit an improper combination of housings (10, 30) together brings a projection (32R) of the wrong housing (30) into abutting engagement with an interference portion (15) in a fitting recess (12). Abutment surfaces (15a, 32Ra) are inclined in directions to move an inner peripheral surface of the fitting recess (12) towards an outer peripheral surface of the wrong housing (30). 摘要： A fastening device for facilitating temporary fastening of an electronic component to a circuit board. The fastening device includes a base embedded in an electronic device and two elastic plates extending from the base. Each elastic plate includes a diagonal portion, which extend diagonally relative to the plane of the circuit board, and a leg, which extends continuously from the diagonal portion. When the legs are inserted through a connecting hole of the circuit board, the resilient force of the elastic plates presses the diagonal portions against the wall of the connecting hole.

摘要： An electrical connection system includes (1) a jack holding a pair of pins, (2) a plug holding a pair of electrical terminals respectively engaging with the above pins, (3) a shorting clip provided in the above jack for electrically shorting out the pins each other, (4) a latch unit provided in the above plug and (5) a cover provided in the above jack so as to be freely rotatable. The latch unit is movable between a first position where the shorting clip shorts out the pins and a second position where the shorting clip is moved to a non-shorting position. Rotation of the cover allows the plug to engage with the jack and the above latch unit to move to the above second position.

摘要： A connector has terminals, each having a tip end portion. A wiring board has through holes. A land is provided on the wiring board about each through hole. When the connector is mounted on the wiring board, each terminal is connected to one of the lands with a part of the tip end portion being located in the corresponding through hole. The ratio of the cross-sectional area of each tip end portion to the cross-sectional area of each through hole is at least 0.11 and no more than 0.89. This improves the reliability of the joint portions between the terminals and the wiring board.
