摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide an information processing system which achieves efficient physical resource allocation to a virtual resource. An information processing system of the invention includes a plurality of physical resources mutually connected over a network, and an operating management computer which manages a virtual resource into which a plurality of physical resources are logically aggregated. The information processing system determines physical resources to be logically aggregated into and be allocated to a virtual resource on the basis of a resource usage amount of a workload to be processed by the information processing system and configuration information on the plurality of physical resources.

摘要: An intake manifold for a multiple-cylinder internal combustion engine has a collective part forming an intake gas distribution chamber, and a branch part forming branch intake passages. The collective part includes a first section defining a first space joined to a second section defining a second space. The first and second spaces define the intake gas distribution chamber. The first and second sections have corner parts, the second section being provided with a guide wall covering the inside surfaces of the corner parts. The guide wall has a guide surface and opposes the intake gas inlet, the intake gas distribution chamber being defined between the intake gas inlet and the guide wall. The guide wall and the corner parts define a back space communicating with the intake gas distribution chamber.

摘要: Provided is a gas turbine capable of achieving high-speed startup of the gas turbine through quick operation control of an ACC system during startup of the gas turbine, improving the cooling efficiency of turbine stationary components, and quickly carrying out an operation required for cat back prevention during shutdown of the gas turbine. Included are a pressurizing device (40) connected to a branching channel (42) branching from the discharge side of a compressor (11) and capable of carrying out an operation for introducing and pressurizing air independently from the compressor (11); a temperature-control-medium supply channel (43) that guides compressed air pressurized at the pressuring device (40) to a turbine-cooling-medium channel (50) provided in stationary components of a turbine (13); and a temperature-control-medium return channel (44) that guides the compressed air that has passed through the turbine-cooling-medium channel (50) to the discharge side of the compressor (11) such that the flows are combined, and the pressurizing device (40) is operated at startup of the gas turbine and in preparation immediately before startup to carry out temperature-raising and cooling by letting the compressed air flow in the turbine-cooling-medium channel (50). The pressurizing device (40) is operated during shutdown of the gas turbine to exhaust the high-temperature gas remaining in the turbine (13).

摘要: An intake manifold M for a multiple-cylinder internal combustion engine has a collective part 10 forming an intake gas distribution chamber 11, and a branch part 20 forming branch intake passages 22. The collective part 10 is built by joining together a first section A defining a first space 11a, and a second section B defining a second space 11a. The first space 11a and the second space 11b form the intake gas distribution chamber 11. The first section A and the second section B have corner parts 31a and 31b, respectively. The second section B is provided with a guide wall 40 extending in the first section A and the second section B so as to cover the respective inside surfaces 31a1 and 31b1 of the corner parts 31a and 21b. The guide wall 40 has a guide surface 44 capable of smoothly guiding an intake gas as compared with the inside surfaces 31a1 and 31b1 of the corner parts 31a and 31b. The guide wall 40 and the corner parts 21a and 31b define a back space 47 communicating with the intake gas distribution chamber 11. The intake gas can flow smoothly in the intake gas distribution chamber of the intake manifold of the split construction regardless of the shape of the corner part of the collective part. Consequently, volumetric efficiency can be improved. The variation of pressure in the intake gas distribution chamber can be suppressed by using the back space behind the guide wall.

摘要: A communication system which includes first to third terminals which belong to a first network, and the first and the third terminals belong to a second network. The first terminal transmits a first packet generated by the first terminal to a second terminal through the first network. When the second terminal receives the first packet, the second terminal monitors a route between the first and the second terminals. When the monitored results satisfy prescribed conditions, the second terminal transmits a second packet to the third terminal. When the third terminal receives the second packet, the third terminal transmits a third packet, which indicates that the third terminal can be connected to the second network, to the second terminal.
