摘要: A viscous substance dispenser is provided with a container containing a viscous substance having a viscosity in the range of 1,000 to 1,000,000 cps. The container is provided with a circular orifice or a polygonal orifice of a diameter in the range of 50 &mgr;m to 1 mm in its lower portion. An electrode is formed in a portion or the entire portion of the container. A meniscus of the viscous substance is made to bulge out from the orifice and a high voltage pulse is applied to the electrode to pull out the viscous substance through the orifice and a portion of the viscous substance pulled out of the orifice is cut and is made to adhere to a medium.

摘要: A photographing operation control device having an electro-developing recording medium to electronically develop an image formed thereon. The developing or photographing operation of the electro-developing recording medium is performed during a period when a recording medium activating signal is outputted. An exposure period for which the electro-developing recording medium is exposed is set based on a measured photometry value. When the exposure period is longer than a standard period for which the recording medium activating signal is outputted, the recording signal activating signal is outputted as pulse signals for a period equal to the exposure period. The operation period for which the pulse signals are outputted is set in such a manner that a total amount of the output period of the recording medium activating signal is equal to the standard period.

摘要: The present invention relates to a polymer dispersion liquid crystal recording medium containing liquid crystals dispersed and fixed in resin, as well as to a method and an apparatus for reproducing information. In particular, when a medium as shown in FIG. 6 is used, the information recorded on the liquid crystal layer can be read with sufficient contrast by making the photoconductive layer (13) transparent to blue or ultraviolet light, and by making the wavelength of the reading light match the wavelength of the blue or ultraviolet light. When image reading is performed as illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 7, a white light source is used as light source (4), and a filter (5) is placed between light source (4) and the liquid crystal medium (20); thus, only blue or ultraviolet light enters the liquid crystal medium. After passing through the liquid crystal medium (20), the light is converted to an electric signal by a photoelectric converter (6).

摘要: An electro-developing type camera uses an electro-developing recording medium including an electrostatic information recording medium and an electric charge keeping medium. The camera has a transparency sensor for detecting dark-zone-transparency data at a portion of the electric charge keeping medium corresponding to a dark zone defined on a light receiving surface of the electrostatic information recording medium. It is determined whether or not the dark-zone-transparency data is substantially equal to reference-transparency data. If the dark-zone-transparency data is not substantially equal to the reference-transparency data, it is warned that the electro-developing recording medium has been recorded on.

摘要: The invention provides a system in which a photoelectric sensor having a transparent electrode and a photoconductive layer formed on a transparent substrate in this order is opposed to a liquid crystal recording medium having a transparent electrode and a polymer dispersion type of liquid crystal layer formed on a transparent substrate in this order, and voltage is applied between both the electrodes for exposure to image-carrying light, so that the liquid crystals are oriented to record the information. In this system, the transmittance of the liquid crystal recording medium, the current flowing through the photoelectric sensor or liquid crystal recording medium, the conductivity of the unexposed portion of the photoelectric sensor, and the transmittance of the liquid crystal layer at a dark portion are measured, or the voltage applied on the liquid crystal recording medium is estimated by monitoring the current flowing through the liquid crystal recording medium, so that the applied voltage and the duration of the applied voltage can be controlled. Before recording the information, the optimal applied voltage and the optimal duration of the applied voltage can thus be preset to make it possible to obtain images of high quality.

摘要: A master electric charge retaining medium 2 having electrostatic charge information recorded thereon is disposed face-to-face with a reproductive electric charge retaining medium 3, and a voltage is applied between the respective electrodes of the two electric charge retaining media to induce an electric discharge, thereby inversely reproducing the electrostatic charge information on the reproductive electric charge retaining medium, as shown in FIG. 2(b). It is possible to effect the reproduction any number of times while preventing the lowering in the contrast of the master electric charge retaining medium by making the electrostatic capacity of the master electric charge retaining medium adequately larger than the electrostatic capacity of the reproductive electric charge retaining medium. In addition, a master electric charge retaining medium 2 having an insulating layer with a relatively high softening point and a reproductive electric charge retaining medium 4 having a thermosoftening resin layer 4a are disposed face-to-face with each other to induce electric charge on the thermosoftening resin layer in correspondence to the electrostatic charge image on the master electric charge retaining medium 2, and the thermosoftening resin layer is softened by heating to form a dimple pattern thereon, thereby enabling transfer development to be effected any number of times without leaking the electrostatic charge.

摘要: An electrode 2c and a pinene polymer recording layer 2a with a molecular weight of 500 to 10000 are successively stacked on a substrate 2c, as shown in FIG. 3. By carrying out thermal development, information electric charge that is formed on the resin surface is formed into a thermally stable frost image without decay of the information electric charge. Since no photoconductive layer is needed, when transmitted or reflected light is used to reproduce the frost image, there is no effect of the coloring of a photo-conductive layer. If exposure is effected under the application of a voltage, since the depth of dimple patterns of a frost image varies in accordance with the quantity of exposure energy, tonal reproducibility is obtained. In addition, it is possible to obtain high resolution and make an original for OHP, a microfilm, a slidefilm, etc. which is of good quality and has high fidelty to the original document.
