A blow mould for containers wherein the mould base comprises a first member (5) and a second member (6) connectable to each other by means of a quick coupling system comprising at least one first connection pin, wherein said second member (6) includes a first slider (13), defining a first sliding direction on a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the mould and capable of taking an unlocking position and a locking position, said first slider (13) being provided with at least a hole in order to lock the first connection pin when the first slider (13) is in the locking position, and a second slider (16) defining a second sliding direction on said plane, intersecting said first direction; said second slider (16) being slidable along said second direction from a position of mechanical connection with the first slider (13) to a position of releasing from said first slider.

A blow mould (1) provided with a locking system to lock each half-mould (2) to the respective half-mould holder (3), allowing simpler and quicker replacement of the lateral half-impressions (4) of the mould (1). The blow mould (1) provides that the lateral half-impression (4) of each half-mould (2) is fixed in a cavity of the corresponding mould holder (3) by means of actuating at least one quick coupling device (5, 5′). Said quick coupling device (5, 5′) comprises a force multiplier mechanism (22, 22′) configured so as to actuate a respective locking element (29, 29′) from an unlocking position, in which the half-mould (2) or a part thereof may be extracted from the mould holder (3), to a locking position, in which half-mould (2) and mould holder (3) are integrally locked to each other, or vice versa.

A conveying system for plastic material container preforms (30), for conveying said preforms to a blow molding machine, comprising angular orientation systems for the containers with respect to a predetermined reference system, capable of orienting said preforms from the step of loading onto a conveying line to the step of blowing the containers in a blowing machine. A corresponding method of orienting the containers is further described, which may be implemented in this system.

An injection nozzle plugging rod (4) of machines for molding plastic material containers, provided with a locking system suitable for preventing the separation of the parts forming the actuating pneumatic piston of the same rod, said piston being subjected to considerable stresses during the machine operation. Thus, the rod according to the invention is able to prevent the piston binding, and therefore also the locking of the same rod, considerably reducing the number of maintenance interventions and thus increasing the throughput of the molding machine.

Injection system with closing rod (2) provided with a cleaning device (6, 7, 8) suitable for removing the powder of molten plastic that builds up in the movement areas of the closing rod (2), in particular in the thrust bearing (3), during the normal operation of a molding machine. Advantageously the system according to the invention avoids the limitation of the piston stroke and the subsequent blockage with time and thus also the blockage of the closing rod, considerably reducing the number of maintenance operations and thus increasing the productivity of the molding machine.

The device for conditioning preforms in plastic material comprises a rotating turret (20), having a group of conditioning cavities (22) for inserting preforms, partly through an opening on a first side (A) of the turret and partly through an opening on a second side (B) of the turret. The conditioning cavities (22) which open on the first side (A) are disposed in such a way that for part of their length (L1) they are situated side by side with the cavities which open on the second side (B). In this way the turret becomes more compact. There is also described a conditioning method for the preforms.

The method for thermally conditioning preforms in accordance with the invention comprises the following steps:—Placing the preforms on a chain conveyor (2);—Conveying the preforms through a first thermal conditioning stage (1) and subjecting them to a first heating or cooling heat exchange;—Removing the preforms from the first thermal conditioning stage and holding them outside for a predetermined amount of time in order to redistribute the temperature inside the preforms;—Subjecting the preforms to at least a second heating or cooling heat exchange in a second thermal conditioning stage (1) or in the first thermal conditioning stage. The invention also concerns the plants for heating or cooling preforms in accordance with the above method.
