摘要: In a dynamic random access memory including a plurality of memory read circuit arrays, a sense amplifier has a circuit wherein a first switch (or a pair of first switches) and a pair of second switches connected in series to the first switch are connected between the common data lines and the common source line of a second precharger. The first switch is controlled according to the potential of the bit lines precharged by a first precharger, while the second switches are controlled according to the address signal. Further, a third switch is provided to connect the common source line to an activation potential for the common source line in the memory array not selected. A second precharger precharges the common source line in a memory array not selected to a second precharge potential and the common data lines in a memory array not selected to a third precharge potential during the time when the common source line and the common data lines are not selected. The first, second and the third precharge potentials are set so as to prevent a through current through the third switch. Alternatively, the third switch may be omitted by providing appropriate precharge potentials.

摘要: In a reading circuit for a semiconductor memory, connection between a bit line pair 3 and input line of a differential amplifier 4 is controlled using an address transition detection signal LTD. For equalizing the bit line pair 3 in pulse form after transition, the bit line pair 3 is connected to the input terminal of the differential amplifier 4 for a little longer period than the equalizing period, and for clamping the bit line pair 3, the bit line pair 3 and the input terminal of the differential amplifier 4 are disconnected from each other, thus allowing a high-speed, stable reading operation with large-scale capacity.

摘要: In a dynamic random access memory of precharge type including a plurality of memory arrays, switches provided for a memory array connect one of the common source lines of a sense amplifier with common data lines is always turned on in a non-selected memory array. The switch is kept turned on even in a period wherein the memory array is selected and the sense amplifier is kept active. When the one of the common source lines is connected by the switches, the potential of the one of the common source lines increases and the potentials of the common data lines also increase without a pull-up circuit. The precharge potentials to be supplied to the common source lines may be different from each other. Further, a load circuit may be provided for each memory array for loading the common data lines for reading information when a switch is turned off to isolate the common data lines. Then, the read and write actions can be stabilized.

摘要: A brushless DC motor having a rotor magnet magnetized to provide a sinusoidal magnetic field and two-phase stator windings at positions which differ from each other by an electrical angle which is an odd multiple of 90.degree. is provided with a drive circuit comprising a signal generator with an output having a frequency determined by the rotational speed of the rotor, and a memory having stored therein digital information data converted from sampled values of a sinusoidal signal free of distortion. The digital information data stored in the memory is read out therefrom by the output of the signal generator in synchronism with the magnetic field from the rotor magnet, and such read-out information data is employed to determine currents flowing through the stator windings so that torque ripple is substantially eliminated.

摘要: A device for sensing the type of magnetic coating on a magnetic tape while the latter is at rest, for example, in a magnetic tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus, has a DC magnetic recording head energizable by a predetermined DC voltage for applying a DC magnetic flux to the tape with which such head is engaged, a magnetic sensing element preferably coupled with the DC magnetic recording head for sensing the remanence or residual magnetism in the tape while the latter remains at rest following the application of the DC magnetic flux to the tape, and a level detector for detecting the level of the sensed remanence of the tape as an indication of the type of magnetic coating thereon. Such level detector may be advantageously employed for controlling a frequency equalizing circuit and/or a bias oscillator included in the signal recording circuit of the recording and/or reproducing apparatus so as to automatically adapt the latter for recording operations on the particular type of tape installed therein.

摘要: A driver and a receiver supply a data signal, which is based on serial data having a regular bit pattern, such as a clock, which includes 1's and 0's alternating with each other during an adjustment period, and is based on serial data having an arbitrary bit pattern during a transfer period following the adjustment period. A duty factor controller adjusts a data transition characteristic of the driver or the receiver so that a duty factor of the data signal supplied from the receiver is equal to 50% in the adjustment period, and has the adjusted data transition characteristic stored. A clock recovery unit recovers a clock synchronized with a data signal, which is supplied from the receiver in the transfer period and is based on the adjusted transition characteristic, from the data signal.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to give durable excellent stain-proofing property to the surface of a coat formed on the surface of a substrate of a building board without deteriorating the surface of the coat. The present invention provides a stain-proofing agent which comprises silica fine particles, an aqueous solvent and, as a stain-proofing improver, an alkali metal compound and/or an alkaline earth metal compound and/or a phosphorus compound and/or a clay mineral. Furthermore, the present invention provides a building board having an excellent stain-proofing property prepared by applying a coating composition onto the surface of a substrate to form a coat, and then applying a stain-proofing agent onto the coat while the coat is in an unhardened state or applying a stain-proofing agent onto the coat after subjecting the coat to a roughening treatment to enhance the adhesion of the stain-proofing layer to the coat.
