    摘要: An image signal processing unit comprising an image signal receiver, a first addition block, a compression block, and a determination block, is provided. The image signal receiver receives an image signal. The image signal is generated by an imaging device. The imaging device has a plurality of pixels generating pixel signal. A receiving surface of the imaging device is divided into a number of pixel blocks. A number of pixels are arranged in the pixel block. The first addition block generates high-sensitivity signal by adding up the pixel signals generated by some pixels arranged at a predetermined position in the pixel block. The compression block generates low-sensitivity signal by compressing the high-sensitivity signal so that the low-sensitivity signal is lower than the maximum signal level of the pixel signal. The determination block determines whether a signal level of the high-sensitivity signal is over the threshold level The low-sensitivity signal is output if the signal level of the high-sensitivity signal is over the threshold level. Alternatively, the high-sensitivity signal is output if the signal level of the high-sensitivity signal is under the threshold level.

    摘要: A recording operation control device comprises a recording operation stop switch on a rear surface of a camera body of an electronic still camera. By fully depressing a shutter button, a CCD housed in the camera body is exposed so that image data is obtained and recorded in a PC card. If the recording operation stop switch is depressed before the recording operation of the image data is completed, the recording operation is stopped. Instead of depression of the recording operation stop switch, the shutter button may be depressed twice during a constant period of time so that the recording operation is stopped. Both the recording operation stop switch and the shutter button may be depressed to stop the recording operation.

    摘要: In the present invention, a reactor power control apparatus of a natural circulation reactor comprises a reactor pressure vessel which circulates cooling water using the density difference of the coolant inside, a feed water pipe which is connected to the reactor pressure vessel and supplies cooling water, a power control section which controls the reactor power using a control rod. The feed water pipe has an ultrasonic thermometer sensor. Driving of the control rod is controlled by the power control section based on the feed water temperature detected by the feed water thermometer. The reactor power control apparatus can detect the temperature of the feed water and perform drive control of the control rod preferentially, and obtain stable reactor power.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes: a sheet tray; an image forming unit that forms an image on a recording sheet; a sheet transporting path that allows a transportation of the recording sheet fed from the sheet tray to the image forming unit; and a sheet detecting unit that detects a passage of a rear end, with respect to a direction in which the recording sheet is transported, of the recording sheet along the sheet transporting path. The transportation of the recording sheet is temporarily stopped at the time of, or after a predetermined time from when the rear end is detected by the sheet detecting unit. The transportation of the recording sheet is resumed on the basis of data on a size of the transported recording sheet and a timing of image formation by the image forming unit.

The image signal processing unit comprises a first detector, a second detector, and a blurring processor. The first detector detects a sharpness. The second detector detects an out-of-focus area from the image-areas when the sharpness of an out-of-focus area is out of a predetermined permissible range. The blurring processor carries out a blurring process for the out-of-focus area signal corresponding to the out-of-focus area.
