    摘要: A hexafluoropropylene oxide oligomer of the formula: RfO[CF(CF3)CF2O]nCF(CF3)COF in which Rf is a group represented by the formula: F(CF2)m— in which m is an integer of 1 to 8, or the formula: (CF3)2CF(CF2)q— in which q is an integer of 0 to 6, and n is a number of 3 to 20 is heated and thermally decomposed in a solvent at a temperature of at least 100° C. in the presence of a compound which generates a fluoride (F−) ion to obtain mainly the dimer, trimer and tetramer of hexafluoropropylene oxide. Thus, the valuable low molecular weight oligomers of hexafluoropropylene oxide can be obtained from high molecular weight oligomers of hexafluoropropylene oxide which have been discarded.

    摘要: To planarize the surface of a semiconductor substrate having convex and concave portions as with the case of a trench structure or a multilayer interconnection structure, a burying film is formed all over the surface of the semiconductor substrate to bury the convex portions; a stopper layer is selectively formed on the burying film at the concave portions; and the burying film is removed flatwise by mechanical polishing until the surface of the convex portion is exposed. The method can simply realize a highly precise planarized structure. Further, it is also preferable to form another stopper layer on the surfaces of the convex portions.

For this reason, characteristics such as a threshold value, a punchthrough, and a back gate effect of the semi-conductor device can be freely controlled.

    摘要: A lawn mower having a driver's section and a grass cutting unit forwardly of a vehicle body; an engine mounted between front and rear wheels; and a pair of main frames extending longitudinally of the vehicle body, each of the main frames including a front frame member, and a rear frame member connected to the front frame member and disposed at a lower level than the front frame member. The engine is mounted below the main frames between the front and rear wheels, and has a radiator disposed rearwardly of the engine and having an upper portion projecting upwardly of the rear frame members. The engine is surrounded by a first cover assembly including side covers depending respectively from the main frames, lower covers connecting the respective side covers to lower positions of the engine, and a front cover for closing an area forwardly of the engine. The first cover assembly defines first ambient air intake openings. A second cover is disposed rearwardly of the driver's section for covering the upper portion of the radiator. The second cover defines a second ambient air intake opening in a forward portion thereof. Cooling air flows produced by a fan disposed adjacent the radiator are drawn through the first and second ambient air intake openings, at least a large part of the cooling air flows being exhausted rearwardly through the radiator.

    摘要: A load handling vehicle having a load handling device disposed in front of the vehicle body and tiltable by a pair of opposite tilting cylinders. A main frame extends longitudinally of the vehicle and is fixed to each side of the vehicle body at a plurality of locations spaced apart longitudinally thereof. Each tilting cylinder extends longitudinally of the vehicle and is positioned above and close to the corresponding main frame in the vicinity of the front wheel fender inside thereof. The tilting cylinder is connected to a bracket on the main frame in the vicinity of and above the front axle and terminates at a position below the steering assembly of the vehicle. The arrangement of the cylinders permits the device to be positioned close to the vehicle body, enabling the driver to obtain a good forward view. The vehicle body is reinforced by the main frames against fracture.
