    Abstract: A wireless base station includes an interference-sensing means for sensing the occurrence of interference at the wireless base station, an interference analysis means for executing analysis that is based on the result of sensing by the interference-sensing means and that includes estimation as to the continuity of the interference, and a wireless resource control means for executing wireless resource control for reducing the effect of the interference in accordance with the result of analysis by the interference analysis means. The continuity includes temporal continuity and/or spatial continuity.

    Abstract: A BP detector of a wireless receiver apparatus reads a first parameter set or a second parameter set. The first parameter set includes a plurality of scaling factors and a plurality of damping factors learned together using a deep learning technique. The second parameter set includes a plurality of scaling factors and a plurality of node selection factors learned together using a deep learning technique from a memory. The BP detector executes an iterative BP algorithm that uses the first parameter set or the second parameter set in order to perform multi-user detection.

    Abstract: Radio terminals (1A, 1B, 1C) each receive a broadcast/multicast signal (220) from a cellular communication network (10). The representative terminal (1A) receives response messages from the respective neighboring radio terminals (1B, 1C) via D2D communication (231, 232). Each response message is generated based on reception of the broadcast/multicast signal (220) by each neighboring radio terminal (1B, 1C). The representative terminal (1A) generates a representative response message and transmits it to the cellular communication network (10) or another node (7) via uplink transmission (240). It is thus, for example, possible to contribute to improving efficiency of transmission by radio terminals of response messages related to a broadcast/multicast service.

    Abstract: A wireless terminal (1A) receives a discovery signal (201) wirelessly transmitted from another wireless terminal (1B) via device-to-device (D2D) communication, and transmits a discovery report (202, 302) to a network (2, 3) via cellular communication (101). The discovery report indicates at least one of: (a) an identifier of the other wireless terminal (1B); (b) an identifier(s) of one or more D2D communication pairs to which the other wireless terminal (1B) belongs; (c) an identifier of a base station or a cell with which the other wireless terminal (1B) is associated; (d) received power of a discovery signal from the other wireless terminal (1B); and (e) the number of detections of the discovery signal from the other wireless terminal (1B). It is thus possible to provide a discovery report containing contents suitable for use in a network.
