摘要: One or more switches are interposed between a controller portion and a storage device. When transmission of a command to a certain storage device fails, a command is transmitted starting from an upstream side to a downstream side of a path between the controller portion and the switch to which the certain storage device is connected, and when command transmission fails while transmitting a command from a kth switch (k is an integer of 0 or more) which is connected to a (k+1)th switch and is one level upstream of the (k+1)th switch or from any port of the controller portion, it is determined that a failure has occurred in a power source that supplies power to the (k+1)th switch.

摘要: To obtain an electrolyte membrane that can prevent large stress formed in the membrane due to its expansion attributable to moisturization upon operation of a fuel cell and that allows the manufacturing of a membrane electrode assembly having high performance and durability. An electrolyte membrane 1 in no moisture state is moisturized to be in a high moisture state. Intervals between a plurality of clamp pieces 21 at the periphery of an electrolyte membrane 2 expanded due to moisturization are adjusted so that an electrolyte membrane after dried is provided with a required difference in expansion rate, using the plurality of clamp pieces 21. The adjusted electrolyte membrane is dried without having to change the location of the clamp pieces 21, and an electrolyte membrane 3 in no moisture state is obtained. In this way, a plurality of regions having different expansion rates are formed in the plane of the electrolyte membrane 3.

摘要: There is provided a compressor device in which resonance in a circulating channel is reduced so that an increase in noise generated from the compressor device is prevented. The compressor device includes: a plurality of blades rotated about a rotation axis; an air inlet extending along the rotation axis and introducing air to the blades; a circulating channel disposed on a circumference centered on the rotation axis and communicating between the air inlet and the shroud of the blades; and a strut extending radially centered on the rotation axis and dividing the circulating channel. Resonance frequencies determined from circumferential lengths in the circulating channels divided by the strut are higher than a noise frequency determined from the rotational speed of the blades and the number of blades.

摘要: A host computer includes a virtual disk control part for controlling an input/output request into a virtual disk. A plurality of storage subsystems includes a load monitoring part for measuring a load on a physical disk by the input/output request and storing load information in a disk management table. The virtual disk control part identifies, upon receiving the input/output request into a not-ever-outputted space in a virtual disk, an appropriate logical disk on the virtual disk based on the load information in the disk management table, sends the input/output request to the storage subsystem having the identified logical disk, and updates, upon receiving a completion acknowledgement of the input/output request, the load information in the disk management table based on the load information in the logical disk map information table.
