Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a pluggable custom data binding system and method utilizing a generic data structure exchanged between a run-time system and a user define binding logic in Web Service Applications. The custom data binding system may replace the existing mappings for XML schema types. The custom binder is a function that works with the pairing of a particular XML schema type and Java type. The custom binder may define an interface including serialize and de-serialize methods to convert between Java objects and SOAPElements. After the custom binder is plugged into the run-time system, this custom binder may interact with the run-time system through use of SOAPElement. The custom binding provider may aggregate related custom binders to support particular custom data bindings. The custom binding provider may be created for a specific application that has a few XML schema types that are not supported by the JAX-RPC specification.
Abstract:
The present invention is intended to protect an industrial wireless communication method based on self-adaptive channel hopping within timeslot, which belongs to industrial wireless communication technology field. Aiming to solving existing problem that wireless devices can not correspondingly self-adaptive channel hopping according to environment changing, a method for making the two communication sides self-generate and execute channel switch when the preferred channel was interfered. The sender will monitor whether the channel is idle within SWTW before sending data through mechanisms such as CCA or non-persistent CSMA. If the channel is still busy till the SWTW times out, the sender will give up sending data and implement channel switching control command by considering this communications channel as interfered. If no packets were received till the RWTW time-outs, the receiver will thinks the communication channel was interfered and automatically implement channel switching control commands. Thus, the receiver will change its backup channel into communication channel. So far, the sender and receiver all independently hop to the backup channel for new communication process after a channel switching cycle. Different time synchronization algorithm will be used in accordance with whether channel switch is carried out or not. The present invention can fully enhance the channel utilization and communication success rate, improve the reliability and real-time of data communication, reduce additional network load by means of reduced retransmission, and perfectly satisfy the requirement of industrial wireless application.
Abstract:
A circuit interrupter with end-of-life protection has four components: 1) a control circuit to activate an electromagnetic unit upon detecting a predetermined condition; 2) a fuse coupled between the control circuit and the power supply; 3) an end life sensing circuit coupled to the control circuit; and 4) an end life indicating circuit coupled to the end life sensing circuit and the power supply. The end life sensing circuit includes a light emitting device and a light sensitive device controlled by the light emitting device. The end life indicating circuit includes a visual indicator to indicate that the circuit interrupter reaches the end of its life. Another circuit interrupter with end-of-life protection has three components: 1) a control circuit to activate an electromagnetic unit upon detecting a predetermined condition; 2) a fuse coupled between the control circuit and the power supply; and 3) an end life sensing and indicating circuit coupled to the control circuit. The end life sensing and indicating circuit includes a light emitting device which is turned off to indicate that the circuit interrupter reached the end of its life.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting a control channel in a base station for a wireless communication system. The base station transmits information including a number of channel elements constituting control channels, to a terminal; establishes a set of control channels that the terminal can receive, within the number of channel elements using an identifier (ID) of the terminal; and transmits control information to the terminal through a selected control channel among the control channels. The terminal is restricted to monitor only a proper number of control channels established without the need to monitor all control channels, thereby reducing reception complexity and avoiding unnecessary battery consumption.

A one piece dispensing component that includes a flip cap and a body, wherein the flip cap is connected to the body with a hinge. The body includes a shoulder permanently connecting the body to a container and a nozzle connected to the shoulder. A one piece dispensing component comprising a body, a flip cap, and a hinge. The body including a nozzle and a shoulder connected to a product container, wherein a longitudinal axis of the nozzle is offset from a longitudinal axis of the body. A process of manufacturing a one piece dispensing package that includes the steps of producing a one piece dispensing component, producing non-injection-molded tube having an open end and a closed end opposite the open end, and permanently connecting the one piece dispensing component to the open end of the tube. The one piece dispensing component includes a shoulder, a nozzle, a flip cap, and a hinge attaching the flip cap to the nozzle.
Abstract:
Methods of treating a mammal at risk for ischemia-reperfusion injury are provided. The methods comprise administering an adrenomedullin binding protein-1 (AMBP-1) to the mammal in sufficient amount to reduce the injury. Also provided are methods of treating a mammal at risk for ischemia-reperfusion injury to the bowel. The methods comprise administering adrenomedullin to the mammal in sufficient amount to reduce the injury.
Abstract:
A circuit interrupter comprises a pair of fixed contact strips, a pair of load contact strips, a pair of movable contact strips, a reset component, a movable component, and a trip component that contains a reset contact. Each of the fixed contact strips has a fixed contact. Each of the load contact strips has a load contact. Each of the movable contact strips has a fixed end and a movable end. The movable end of each movable contact strip is split into an inner sub-strip and an outer sub-strip. Each movable end has a first movable contact disposed on the inner sub-strip arranged for contacting one of the corresponding load contacts and a second movable contact disposed on the outer sub-strip arranged for contacting one of the corresponding fixed contacts. The movable component, disposed to sustain the movable ends of the movable contact strips, allow the inner sub-strips and the outer sub-strips to rest on different horizontal planes. The movable component is capable of either being latched with or released from the reset component to move between a first position, a second position, and a third position.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for transmitting an Internet Protocol (IP) packet in a terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting system. An IP encapsulator receives an IP packet from an upper layer, and converts the IP packet into Ultra Lightweight Encapsulation (ULE) data and ULE-Forward Error Correction (FEC) data if there is a request for use of ULE and ULE-FEC. A Transmission Parameter Signaling (TPS) block sets TPS bits of the IP encapsulated data. A modulator modulates the TPS bits and the data output from the IP encapsulator.
Abstract:
Methods and compositions are provided for delivering a polynucleotide encoding a gene of interest to a target cell using a virus. The virus envelope comprises a cell-specific binding determinant that recognizes and binds to a component on the target cell surface, leading to endocytosis of the virus. A separate fusogenic molecule is also present on the envelope and facilitates delivery of the polynucleotide across the membrane and into the cytosol of the target cell. The methods and related compositions can be used for treating patients having suffering from a wide range of conditions, including infection, such as HIV; cancers, such as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and breast cancer; and hematological disorders, such as severe combined immunodeficiency.
