    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to providing frequency diversity for communications in an unlicensed spectrum are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, an opportunistic frequency-switching configuration for a first frequency band and a second frequency band. The first frequency band and the second frequency band are shared by a first network operating entity and a second network operating entity. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a first communication signal in a first frequency band based on the opportunistic frequency-switching configuration. The first wireless communication device switches from the first frequency band to a second frequency band based on the opportunistic frequency-switching configuration. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device after the switching, a second communication signal in the second frequency band based on the opportunistic frequency-switching configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station serving the UE in a first network, a power control configuration and a reference signal measurement configuration. The UE may receive, based at least in part on the reference signal measurement configuration, a reference signal from at least one wireless device of a second network. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the power control configuration and the received reference signal, an interference level for the second network introduced by the first network. The UE may adjust a transmission power limit for the UE based at least in part on the determined interference level and the power control configuration. The UE may transmit signals to the base station according to the adjusted transmission power limit.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to drone user equipment (UE) indications that may be conveyed to a wireless network. In particular, a UE that has flight capabilities (i.e., capabilities to operate as an unmanned aircraft system) and optional further capabilities to report a current height level may indicate such capabilities to the wireless network. As such, the wireless network may differentiate the drone UE from other UEs that only operate on the ground. Furthermore, the optional current height level may enable the wireless network to differentiate among drone UEs operating at different heights and/or from other UEs that are operating on the ground. The wireless network may further use the information indicating the flight capabilities either alone or in combination with the optional height information to configure power control parameters, manage interference, provide mobility management functions, generate neighbor lists, control beamforming, or implement a radio resource configuration or management procedure.

    Abstract: Synchronization of listen before talk (LBT) back-off for synchronous access in unlicensed spectrum is disclosed. For nodes of a coordinated group of nodes, when one or more such nodes detects a failed LBT attempt, it pauses the contention widow countdown at the current counter value. According to such aspects, a procedure may be provided that specifies when such nodes can restart the contention window countdown using the current counter value or when the nodes can redraw the pseudo-random number for the contention window countdown in order to synchronize the contention window counters.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify an overlap in time between at least a first occasion and a second occasion in a slot. In some cases, the first occasion may be semi-persistently scheduled for the UE according to a first configuration associated with a first priority level, and the second occasion may be semi-persistently scheduled for the UE according to a second configuration associated with a second priority level. The UE may apply, based on the identified overlap, a conflict resolution rule to the first occasion and the second occasion based on the first priority level for the first occasion and the second priority level for the second occasion, communicate in the slot using the first occasion, and refrain from communicating in the slot using the second occasion based on applying the conflict resolution rule.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to spectrum pooling among multiple carriers or operators for peak rate performance improvement are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a first reservation request signal to reserve a transmission period in a frequency spectrum shared by a first operator and a second operator. The first wireless communication device and the second wireless communication device are associated with the first operator and a first cell. The first reservation request signal carries a request signature sequence associated with the first cell. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, data during the transmission period in the frequency spectrum shared by the first and second operators.
