摘要: A cell identifier is indicated in a signal to be transmitted in a cellular communication system by selecting one of a number, M, of codes, wherein each of the codes has a length N of code symbols, and wherein the selected code is associated with the cell identifier. The selected code is transmitted as a number, N, of reference symbols. The M codes are orthogonal with one another over their length, N, of the code symbols and also over at least one subgroup of length L of the code symbols, wherein L

摘要: A mobile communication system includes a network based aggregation controller for controlling aggregation of component carriers from a first spectrum and a second spectrum. In addition, the mobile communication system includes a group of mobile terminals. The network based aggregation controller is configured to send a group message on at least one component carrier of the first spectrum to the group of mobile terminals. The mobile terminals receive the group message. A terminal based aggregation controller in each of the mobile terminals is configured to control operation of the respective mobile terminal with respect to the at least one component carrier of the second spectrum. This control is accomplished in response to the received group message.

摘要: A system and method to instruct a User Equipment (UE) how Uplink Control Information (UCI) on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) should be transmitted with carrier aggregation. A semi-static signaling of a UCI mapping bit (via a Radio Resource Control (RRC) parameter) is used by a base station such as an eNodeB to require the UE to transmit UCI using one of two pre-determined UCI transmission modes. The bit can be decided by the base station, considering, for example, the available bandwidth or quality of different Uplink Component Carriers (UL CCs) associated with the UE. This network-based solution allows the network to either configure a general rule of UCI transmission by the UE or to enforce the UCI transmission on the Uplink Primary cell (UL Pcell). Because of the rules governing abstracts, this abstract should not be used to construe the claims.

摘要: A method and an arrangement in a radio network node for reconfiguring mappings from Carrier Indicator Field-values to component carriers are provided. Each CIF-value is mapped to a respective component carrier comprising a respective shared data channel. Each respective shared data channel corresponds to at least one downlink control channel carrying said each CIF-value. The radio network node reconfigures mappings from CIF-values to component carriers, while at least one mapping of CIF-value to component carrier is maintained. The component carrier of said at least one mapping from CIF-value to component carrier comprises said at least one downlink control channel and a shared data channel corresponding to said at least one downlink control channel. The radio network node sends at least one of the reconfigured mappings from CIF-values to component carriers to the user equipment.

摘要: Method and arrangement in a base station, a user equipment and a positioning node, for sending, and obtaining, respectively, a value of a propagation delay of a signal. The signal is sent to the base station from a user equipment. The base station and the user equipment are comprised within a wireless communication system. Also, the base station and the user equipment are adapted to exchange wireless signals. The method is characterized by the step of receiving a signal sent from the user equipment. The method is further characterized by the step of measuring the value of the signal propagation delay of the received signal. Still further, the method is characterized by the step of sending the measured value to the equipment and/or to a positioning node comprised within the wireless communication system.

摘要: There is provided a method for use in a user equipment when the user equipment is in idle mode or any other low activity state, and when the user equipment bandwidth is smaller than the cell transmission bandwidth. The method comprises the steps of determining a paging position of the user equipment in the frequency domain; receiving, from the network, paging information within the user equipment reception bandwidth; and changing, if indicated by the network, the paging position of the user equipment within the cell transmission bandwidth.
