    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a flexible display including a first area disposed to be visible to the outside and a second area extending from the first area and disposed to be accommodated inside the electronic device in a first state and to be at least partially visible to the outside in a second state, a bendable member disposed on the rear surface of the flexible display and configured to support the flexible display in the first state and the second state, a case configured to support at least a portion of the flexible display, a sliding frame slidably coupled to the case and including a slide plate having a plurality of first guide slits formed therein and a sliding bar extending from the slide plate and coming into contact with the bendable member in the second state, and a plurality of driving bodies configured to enable sliding movement of the flexible display while switching from the first state to the second state.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments, there may be provided an electronic device comprising: a housing, a flexible display having a resizable region visible to an outside of the housing by at least a portion being moved from the inside to the outside of the housing, a communication circuit configured to enable transmitting or receiving data to or from an external electronic device, at least one sensor configured to identify a size of a region where the flexible display is visible to the outside of the housing, a memory, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: control the display to display a first content on first region of the flexible display visible to the outside of the housing, establish communication connection with an external electronic device through the communication circuit, transmit, based on the establishing of the communication connection, first information on the first content to the external electronic device through the communication circuit so that the external electronic device displays the first content, when a second region where the flexible display located inside the housing is visible to the outside of the housing, display second content on a third region including the first region and the second region, based on at least one value obtained using the at least one sensor, identify second information on the second content, to be transmitted to the external electronic device, based on the obtained at least one value, and transmit the identified second information to the external electronic device through the communication circuit so that the external electronic device displays the second content.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an electronic device including a flexible display, and an operation method thereof. The electronic device may include a battery for power supply, a display unit, and at least one processor. The display unit may include at least one flexible display. As a state of the electronic device switches from a first state to a second state, a screen display area among a display area of the display unit may change from a first area to a second area. In the first state, a first indicator relating to a battery residual capacity identified according to the size of the first area may be displayed through the first area. In the second state, a second indicator relating to a battery residual capacity identified according to the size of the second area may be displayed through the second area.

    Abstract: A method of driving a light emitting diode (LED) backlight unit, which includes a plurality of LED elements that are connected to a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of source lines, includes generating a plurality of gate signals applied to the plurality of gate lines. While the plurality of gate signals are generated, a non-overlap interval between activation intervals of two adjacent gate signals is generated. All of the plurality of gate signals are deactivated during the non-overlap interval. A plurality of source signals applied to the plurality of source lines are generated. While the plurality of source signals are generated, a high-impedance (Hi-Z) interval included in the non-overlap interval is generated. At least some of the plurality of source signals have a high-impedance state during the high-impedance interval.
