    Abstract: The present invention relates to a communication technique, which is a convergence of IoT technology and 5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate than 4G system, and a system for same. The present invention can be applied to smart services (e.g., smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail businesses, security- and safety-related services and the like) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. The present invention provides a beamforming antenna module comprising: a beamforming antenna for radiating a beam in a particular direction, a first lens positioned a preset first distance away from a beam radiation surface of the beamforming antenna and for varying the phase of a beam radiated by means of the beamforming antenna; and a second lens positioned a preset second distance away from a beam radiation surface of the first lens and for varying the phase of the beam radiated by means of the beamforming antenna.

The present invention provides an antenna module comprising: a first antenna array configured to form a beam in a specific direction; a second antenna array spaced a predetermined first distance apart from the first antenna array and configured to form a beam in a specific direction; and a lens spaced a predetermined second distance apart from beam radiation surfaces of the first antenna array and the second antenna array and configured to change phases of the beams radiated from the first antenna array and the second antenna array, wherein the lens is divided into a first region and a second region that have different phase-quantized resolutions.

    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention disclose A method and an apparatus for an ultrasound diagnosis based on an electronic device. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device includes: a display; a camera; a first communication circuit for probe connection; a second communication circuit for communication with at least one external device; and a processor electrically connected with the display, the camera, the first communication circuit, and the second communication circuit, wherein the processor can be configured to detect an ultrasonic diagnosis mode, execute the ultrasonic diagnosis mode and establish communication with the external device in response to the detection of the ultrasonic diagnosis mode, acquire data in the ultrasonic diagnosis mode, display the data on the display and transmit the data streaming to the external device using the second communication circuit, and provide an control guide for the probe in response to reception of control information from the external device. Various embodiments are possible.
