摘要： There is disclosed a video camera which has a normal moving image sensing mode, and a still image sensing mode for sensing an image on a negative film set in a film adapter attached as a still image. An optical image of a subject is photoelectrically converted into an image signal, and whether or not the subject is a negative film is detected on the basis of a predetermined signal component in the image signal. If it is detected that the subject is the negative film, the still image sensing mode starts while setting signal processing in a negative/positive conversion mode and setting the focal length of the lens system at the wide-angle position.

The thin film diode is fabricated by forming a lower electrode material film on a substrate, forming the lower electrode and the signal electrode by means of etching the lower electrode material film, forming the anodic oxidation film on the surface of the lower electrode by means of the anodic oxidation treatment applied thereto, forming an upper electrode material film composed of a transparent and electrically conductive film on the entire surface of the substrate after a heat treatment applied in a vacuum, and forming the upper electrode and the pixel electrode by means of etching the upper electrode material film using a photoresist as an etching mask, after applying another heat treatment in a vacuum.

摘要： To provide a nondestructive inspection apparatus with a reduced distance between a superconducting magnetic sensor and an object under inspection, a cryostat for cooling the sensor to a superconducting state is provided with inner and outer vessels. The inner vessel has a baseplate on which the magnetic sensor is disposed, and has an inner wall defining a central chamber for containing a refrigerant for cooling the magnetic sensor. The outer vessel has an inner wall defining a central chamber for containing the inner vessel, the magnetic sensor and the stage. A gap between the inner and outer vessels is evacuated to insulate the inner chamber from the ambient atmosphere. To facilitate ease of transferring an object to and from the stage for inspection, a load lock area is provided adjoining the outer vessel. The load lock has a movable inner wall portion opening to the inner chamber of the outer vessel and a movable outer wall portion opening to the ambient atmosphere so as to permit the transfer of an object to be inspected to and from the stage.

摘要： A miniature diaphragm pump comprises a motor having an output shaft rotating about its axis, an eccentric pin fixed in eccentric relation to the axis of the output shaft, a drive member connected to the eccentric pin to be driven thereby to reciprocate in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the output shaft, at least one pump chamber disposed radially outwardly of the drive element with respect to the axis of the output shaft and having inlet and outlet valves. Each pump chamber has one diaphragm surface with a rigid joint rod and is connected with the drive member through the joint rod. The reciprocating motion of the drive member is transmitted to each pump chamber such that one pumping action including a compression step and an inflation step is provided to the respective pump chamber during one revolution of the eccentric pin about the output shaft. In addition, since the drive member is reciprocated in the direction perpendicular to the output shaft, it is not necessary to take a large space between the motor and each pump chamber for obtaining the reciprocating motion of the drive member, so that the diaphragm pump as a whole becomes to be small.

摘要： An apparatus for detecting a fine magnetic field comprises a DC SQUID which detects and converts a magnetic field to an electrical signal. A flux locked looped circuit drives the DC SQUID. The flux locked loop circuit includes an amplifier for amplifying the electrical signal. A phase detector modulates the amplified electrical signal and an integration circuit outputs a voltage signal corresponding to the detected magnetic field. An oscillator coupled to the phase detector supplies a demodulation frequency signal. A modulator including a first voltage-to-current converter and a second voltage-to-current converter is coupled with the integration circuit and the oscillator for supplying a modulation signal to the DC SQUID. The modulator further includes an external input terminal and a feedback modulation change-over circuit for changing an internal feedback signal to an external test signal inputted to the external input terminal. A bias source having a third voltage-to-current converter is coupled to the DC SQUID and supplies a bias signal. The bias source also includes an external input terminal and a change-over circuit for changing an internal bias signal to an external test signal inputted to the second external input terminal. An external output terminal is connected to the amplifier for supplying a monitoring test output signal from the DC SQUID. The apparatus for detecting a fine magnetic field thus provides a self-testing function for the DC SQUID.

摘要： A chemical vapor deposition apparatus has a reactor divided into a reaction space and a purging space by a susceptor for supporting a wafer and a loading chamber communicated through a gate with the reactor. Exhaust units are communicated with the reactor and loading chamber, respectively, so that the pressures in the reactor and loading chamber may be reduced. The susceptor has a plurality of recesses to aid placing or scooping the water. Through a transparent wall on the side of the purging space, the susceptor is heated by a lamp unit disposed outside the transparent wall. The loading chamber includes a wafer transport mechanism for charging a wafer into the reactor or discharging a processed wafer from the reactor. An unprocessed wafer is loaded to the loading chamber from a cassette and the processed wafer is unloaded to the cassette. One or a small number of wafers are processed at one time. A uniform film is deposited with a high reproducibility. The processing rate is high and the chemical vapor deposition apparatus is made compact in size.

摘要： A method of measuring an enzyme activity, which comprises the steps of: (1) introducing a sample containing an enzyme to be measured into a column packed with a packing material comprising a water-insoluble support and an antibody which is immobilized onto the support and which recognizes the enzyme to be measured, to thereby capture the enzyme with the antibody; (2) introducing a substrate for the enzyme into the column to react the enzyme captured by the antibody with the substrate; and (3) detecting a product obtained by the reaction. The above method allows the rapid measurement of an enzyme activity with good reaction efficiency.
