    摘要: An apparatus for controlling a torque produced from an internal combustion engine operable at an air/fuel ratio. The engine torque control apparatus includes a first control device for controlling an amount of air permitted to enter the engine, and a second control device for controlling an amount of fuel metered to the engine. Target values for the engine torque and air/fuel ratio are calculated based on the sensed engine operating conditions. The first and second control devices are set to control the engine torque to the target value calculated therefor and the air/fuel ratio to the target value calculated therefor.

    摘要: An engine wherein a target air-fuel ratio is changed over according to the running conditions is provided with a device for computing a target throttle opening area based on the accelerator operation and a selected air-fuel ratio. It also includes a device for correcting the throttle opening such that the throttle opening area is equal to a target throttle opening area, a device for computing a fuel amount to be provided to the engine based on the target air-fuel ratio, intake air volume and engine speed, and a device for regulating the fuel supply to the computed amount. In this way, the throttle valve opening is corrected when the air-fuel ratio is changed, fluctuations in the torque generated by the engine are smoothed out, and torque shock due to the air-fuel ratio change-over is thereby prevented.

    摘要: A device comprising an oxygen-sensitive element to be disposed in a combustion gas exhausted from a combustor to detect deviation of actual air/fuel ratio from a stoichiometric ratio. The element is a combination of two oxygen concentration cells each having a solid electrolyte layer, a measurement electrode layer formed on one side of the electrolyte layer, a reference electrode layer formed on the opposite side and covered with a shield layer. Either measurement electrode layers or reference electrode layers of the two cells are connected to each other, and a constant DC voltage is applied to the element to force a current to flow through solid electrolyte layers of both cells to cause migration of oxygen ions therethrough, from the measurement electrode to the reference electrode in one cell and reversely in the other. The device has a circuit to make a comparison between a fixed reference voltage and an output voltage developed between the measurement and reference electrodes of one cell of the element to produce a high-or-low level control signal according to the result of the comparison. The output voltage is independent of the internal resistance of the element and is scarcely affected by the temperature of the element.

    摘要: An automatic transmission includes at least an input section, an output section, first and second frictional engagement elements, and a controller. The input section receives an input torque from a drive unit. The first frictional engagement element has an engaged state allowing the output section to rotate at a first transmission gear ratio with respect to the input section. The second frictional engagement element has an engaged state allowing the output section to rotate at a second transmission gear ratio with respect to the input section. The controller controls at least a gear shift from the first transmission gear ratio to the second transmission gear ratio. The controller controls the first and second frictional engagement elements and the drive unit so as to cancel an inertia torque resulting from the gear shift.
