    摘要： An information reproducing apparatus includes a rotating portion to rotate an information recording medium on which information has been recorded by wobbling borders on both sides of a track with different phases; a beam irradiating portion for irradiating a beam spot on the track of the information recording medium; a photodetector for receiving a reflected beam of the beam spot from the information recording medium; a detector for detecting a composite waveform including waveforms on the borders on both sides from the received beam intensity of the photodetector; a phase change detector for detecting changes in the phase of wobbling waveforms on the borders on both sides from the composite waveform; and an information reproducer for reproducing information corresponding to detection result of the phase change detector by using a predetermined relation between phase changes and information.

    摘要： An optical information reproducing method for reproducing information recorded at at least one mark on an optical information medium. The method includes irradiating a laser to the optical information medium, detecting a reflected beam reflected from the optical information medium, and reproducing information recorded on the optical information medium from an output signal of a detector which detects the reflected beam. The step of reproducing information is changed in dependence upon a length of the mark of the optical information medium.

    摘要： An information recording/reproducing apparatus includes a detector circuit for detecting a state of reflection light from the recording medium, a control circuit for calculating a radiation power used for writing the information in the recording medium, in accordance with the reflection light state, a pulse generator circuit for generating record pulse information in accordance with the radiation power, and an optical driver circuit for converting the record pulse information into optical information in accordance with the radiation power and driving the optical head to record the light information into the recording medium. Accordingly, the apparatus records information by applying light from an optical head to a record area of a recording medium and changing a state of the record area and reads the information recorded in the record area.

    摘要： In the electric power system protective control system, a plurality of protective control apparatuses each having a protective control function to an electric power system are distributed and connected through a communication network to each other so that data communication is permitted among the respective protective control apparatuses. Each of the protective control apparatuses is carried out a process of executing a control operation related to the protective control function of the own apparatus according to a program module. The program module migrates through the communication network to the own apparatus along a predetermined route of migration. Each of the protective control apparatuses executes a process of migrating the program module from the own apparatus to another protective control apparatus. The another protective control apparatus is determined to a next destination of migration according to the route of migration. In a case where the program module is not migrated by the migration process to the next destination protective control apparatus, each of the protective control apparatuses executes a process of changing a next destination of migration of the program module to a predetermined protective control apparatus except for the next destination protective control apparatus, making it possible to prevent the program module from stopping.

    摘要： In a valve-operating mechanism in a 4-cycle engine, a timing transmitting device is disposed on one side of an engine body. A cam device includes a cam coupled to a driven pulley of the timing transmitting device on one side of a cylinder head, intake and exhaust rocker shafts rotatably carried in the cylinder head, intake and exhaust cam followers secured to one ends of the rocker shafts with their tip ends in sliding contact with the cam, and intake and exhaust rocker arms secured to the other ends of the intake and exhaust rocker shafts with their tip ends abutting against the intake and exhaust valves. Thus, the cam of the cam device can be disposed on one side of the cylinder head to effectively reduce the entire height of the engine.

    摘要： A lithium secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material composed of a reversible lithium intercalation material; a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material composed of a reversible lithium intercalation material; and a separator interposed between said positive electrode and said negative electrode, and in the positive electrode active material, at least one material which shows a positive sign of a total sum of entropy heat from a discharged state to a charged state is mixed with at least one material which shows a negative sign of a total sum of an entropy heat from a discharged state to a charged state. In a battery having such a construction, the amount of entropy heat during charge is reduced compared with a battery employing only a material which shows a positive sign of the total sum of entropy heat. As a result of this, a battery produced in accordance with the present invention achieves an improved cycle characteristic, and thereby is capable of preventing a large deterioration of a battery performance.
