摘要: A method and a receiving node for determining Time Of Arrival (TOA) for a radio signal received from a transmitting node in a wireless network. The receiving node detects the received radio signal by cross-correlating the received radio signal with a predefined reference signal transmitted by the transmitting node, to obtain a Cross-Correlated Function (CCF). The receiving node then estimates a set of candidate TOAs for respective signal components of the cross-correlated signal, and determines a final TOA for the received radio signal based on the set of candidate TOAs.

摘要: A first Network Node (NN) 206 and a method therein for enabling handover of a first and a second wireless device 210,212 from the first NN to a second NN 208. The first NN determines that the second wireless device is to refrain from transmitting an uplink synchronization signal. Based on the determination, the first NN configures the first wireless device to transmit an uplink synchronization signal and to synchronize to a first downlink synchronization signal, an configures the second wireless device to synchronize to a second downlink synchronization signal. The first NN receives, from the second NN, information relating to a measurement performed on the uplink synchronization signal transmitted only from the first wireless device. Based on the received information, the first NN requests the second NN to perform the handover of the first and second wireless devices.

摘要: Systems and methods for activating intelligent wireless communication device reporting in a wireless network are disclosed. Embodiments of a method performed by a wireless communication device for machine-learned optimization of wireless networks is proposed. In one embodiment, the method includes sending, to a network node, information that indicates one or more capabilities of the wireless communication device for reporting of predicted values that are predicted by the wireless communication device using one or more machine learning capabilities of the wireless communication device. The method further includes receiving, from the network node, a request. The request includes (a) a request to start reporting predicted values, (b) a request to start training a machine learning model for generating predicted values, or (c) both (a) and (b). The method further includes performing one or more actions in response to receiving the request.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and system are provided for facilitating positioning based on signal correlation function characteristic feedback. In an embodiment, the method may involve steps performed by a network node in communication with a wireless communication device (WCD) and a plurality of base stations. The network node receives, from the WCD, location information including position reference signal (PRS) correlation function characteristics of a cross-correlation between a received downlink signal and a transmitted PRS for each base station from the plurality of base stations. The network node determines a position of the WCD using the PRS correlation function characteristics. The WCD may initiate the transmission of the PRS correlation function characteristics on its own, or in response to a request to do so from the network node.
