摘要： An audio object (AOB) for which corresponding rights management information (RMI) has been generated by a license management apparatus, and an AOB for which RMI does not exist are written into a recording medium for use in an SDMI system which includes the license management apparatus. Each AOB is put in correspondence with a migration permission flag (MPF). When the corresponding AOB is the AOB for which RMI does not exist, the relevant MPF is set to on so as to show that a migration procedure is permitted. When the corresponding AOB is the AOB for which RMI has been generated by the license management apparatus, the relevant MPF is set to off so as to show that a migration procedure is not permitted.

摘要： A distribution server 103 distributes a content via a network, and a KIOSK terminal 105 receives the content via the network and records the content in an SD memory card 100. A customer device 111 receives a content via the SD memory card 100, checks out the content and records a copy on a recording medium. SD-Audio players 122 to 124 receive a copy of the content and play back the copy. Here, the KIOSK terminal 105 records a Usage Rule that certifies the right to control recording of content on the SD memory card 100. Move Control Information showing the number of times that moving of rights is permitted is set in the Usage Rule.

摘要： A video processing device overlays appropriate presentation data over video images, even if the size of the display area for 3D video images differs from the size of the display area for presentation data that is to be presented with the 3D video images. The video processing device generates left- and right-view images from a 3D video stream, enlarges presentation data obtained from a relevant data stream to scale its display size to match the display size of video images, applying an offset value, which is determined to cause a specific parallax, to the thus enlarged presentation data to generate left- and right-view presentation data, and overlays the left-view presentation data over the left-view images and the right-view presentation data over the right-view images to display video images resulting from the overlaying.
