摘要: The invention provides a system and a method for generating high pressure hydrogen that is able to efficiently and safely generate hydrogen by only the electrolysis of water even when using electric power generated by a frequently varying natural energy, such as sunlight, without using any compressors. The system comprises an electrolysis cell using polyelectrolyte membranes, particularly a double-polarity multi-layered type electrolysis cell having a specified structure disposed in a vessel for storing generated hydrogen, preferably for storing cooled hydrogen under a high pressure hydrogen atmosphere. High pressure hydrogen is generated by electrolysis of pure water using the electrolysis cell by suppressing the pressure applied to the cell to a pressure below the pressure resistance of the cell using a differential pressure sensor and pressure controller.

摘要: A pulse width modulation (PWM) converting circuit includes a pulse generator for generating two pulse signals for each bit of a basic clock pulse train, in response to the value of digital input data, and a differential amplifier for outputting a differential amplification component between the two pulse signals as a PWM signal. The pulse generator varies pulse width of a first of the two pulse signals, on a bit-by-bit basis, of the basic clock pulse train, in response to the value of the digital input data, and holds a level of a second of the two pulse signals throughout all of the bits of the basic clock pulse train, within the period of the pulse of the PWM signal.

摘要: A direct-current motor is provided with an armature, which includes a core and coils, a commutator, which has segments, a first, second, and third brushes, and a pair of magnets. The core includes teeth, which form teeth groups. The tooth located at the most advancing end in a teeth group in the rotation direction of the armature is the most advancing tooth. Each coil is wound about one of the teeth groups. One of the magnets includes a reverse flux portion. When the third brush starts to establish a short circuit between an adjacent pair of the segments during the rotation of the armature, the most advancing end of the most advancing tooth in the teeth group that corresponds to the coil connected to the pair of the segments starts circumferentially overlapping the reverse flux portion. This suppresses the interference caused by a short circuit established by the third brush.

摘要: A hydrogen/oxygen gas generating system includes a deionized water container and a cell for water electrolysis having anode and cathode compartments, the cell being submerged in deionized water in the container. Oxygen gas generated in the anode compartment is channeled to an oxygen gas separating chamber defined in the container at its top whereas hydrogen gas generated in the cathode compartment is channeled to a gas/liquid separator. The pressures of these gases are detected, and in accordance with the detected gas pressures, a first gas piping line for delivering oxygen gas outward from the oxygen gas separating chamber and a second gas piping line for delivering hydrogen gas outward from the separator are controlled such that the differential pressure between the gases may fall in a limited range. Water level in the oxygen gas separating chamber and water level in the gas/liquid separator are detected, and the detected levels are utilized to control the pressures and the supply of deionized water into the container. The system can generate hydrogen and oxygen gases of high purity under high pressure in a safe manner without a need for gas compressors.
