摘要： A dynamo-electric machine comprises a shaft, a core secured to the shaft having slots formed therein extending in the axial direction, a winding composed of a wiring wound by a lap winding method through the slots, a commutator having commutator segments disposed at one end of the core and secured to the shaft, and equalizing connectors electrically connecting commutator segments which should have the same electric potential to each other, wherein the equalizing connectors are disposed in close contact with an end surface of the commutator.

摘要： An anti-counterfeit latent image formation object for bills, bank notes, security papers, credit cards, passports, valuable printing matters, and the like including a main body, a plurality of projections and/or recesses formed on the main body in such a manner as to exhibit various kinds of patterns, in which the various kinds of patterns include straight image lines forming a pattern, a relief pattern, or a combination of the pattern and the relief pattern; a plurality of straight lines printed on at least one surface of the main body at predetermined intervals, the straight lines being printed in a different color from that of the main body itself. The patterns consisting of letters, figures, etc. can be visually recognized only when the anti-counterfeit latent image formation object is viewed from an adequate angle. A method for making the anti-counterfeit latent image formation object is also disclosed.

摘要： An engine starter apparatus comprises a housing (9), a d.c. electric motor (2), an output rotary shaft (3) with a pinion (7), and a planetary speed reduction gear (5). The planetary speed reduction gear (5) comprises a sun gear (11), an internal gear (20), a plurality of planetary gears (12) disposed between the sun gear (11) and the internal gear (20), and a planetary gear carrier (10) connected to the output rotary shaft (3) for rotatably supporting the planetary gears (12). The internal gear (20) comprises a ring-shaped internal gear member (20a), and elastic reinforcing ring member (21,22; 24) for elastically supporting the internal gear member (20a), thereby to increase rigidity of the internal gear member (20a). The reinforcing ring member may comprise a thin-wall cylindrical member (22) concentrically disposed around the internal gear member (20a) with an annulus defined therebetween, and a plurality of ribs (21) radially and axially extending through the annulus for integrally connecting them together. The reinforcing ring member may be a solid elastic ring (24). The reinforcing ring member (21,22; 24) may have formed therein an axial groove (23) for allowing a through bolt for connecting the housing and the d.c. motor to pass therethrough.

摘要： An engine starter comprising a motor having a tubular armature rotation shaft, a rotation output shaft arranged on one axial end of the motor and on the coaxial line with the armature rotation shaft and axially slidably supported, a clutch mechanism for transmitting the turning force of the armature rotation shaft to the rotation output shaft and an electromagnetic switch which not only has a shifting member, by means of an electromagnetic force, to push the rotation output shaft in the axial direction to slidably move it, but which brings movable contacts in touch with fixed contacts, thereby to supply power to the motor. The rear part of the rotation output shaft and the front part of the shifting member inserted into the armature rotation shaft tube from opposite directions, the shifting member of the electromagnetic switch, armature rotation shaft and the rotation output shaft are coaxial. For making the whole length of the starter compact in coaxially arranging these parts, a composition preventing invasion of dust into the contact chamber of the electromagnetic switch is adapted. For providing such a compact composition, restrictions are made on the position of the spring as a means for restoring the rotation shaft to its former position after the engine has started.

摘要： A pulley comprising a circumferential groove which has a non-flat groove surface for increased friction against a belt to be received and a manufacturing method therefor. According to the method a pulley material is forged into a basic pulley configuration which is the shape of the material ready for forming the circumferential groove. The basic configuration comprises a plurality of axial grooves which extend in a generally axial direction over a surface of the pulley in which the circumferential groove is to be formed. Then the circumferential groove is rolling-formed in the pulley material. Thus, a non-flat groove surface for a higher friction is provided. Alternatively, the higher friction groove surface may be formed by roughening a sand blasting, shot blasting or chemical surface treatment.

摘要： A starter includes a movable pinion cylinder mounted on a rotary output shaft so that the movable pinion cylinder is slidable on the rotary output shaft a by predetermined distance together with an overrunning clutch.
