摘要: Methodologies, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for generating routes for relocating delivery of objects. Public data relating to a user's current location, a current location of an object to be delivered, and the user's future travel plans is retrieved. Personal data is also retrieved, including customizable relocation preferences and future travel plans associated with the user. A relocation destination is computed for relocating delivery of the object to the user from a current delivery destination to the relocation destination based on the public data and the personal data associated with the user. A relocation time and a relocation route are also computed, based in part on the public data and the personal data associated with the user. A notification of the relocation destination and the relocation time is then transmitted to an electronic device associated with the user.

摘要: Sensor systems, methods and machine readable medium are provided for a cargo vehicle. A plurality of sensors are arranged about an opening associated with a door through which packages are unloaded from a vehicle or trailer. The plurality of sensors are configured to measure an unpacked depth of the vehicle or trailer. A processor is provided in communication with each of the plurality of sensors. The processor is configured to receive measured data generated by the plurality of sensors, determine an empty volume over time of the vehicle or trailer based on the measured data as packages are being unpacked from the vehicle or trailer, and generate instructions regarding loading packages in a subsequent vehicle or trailer based on the determined empty volume over time of the vehicle or trailer.

摘要: Described is a retail store fixture that includes an electric charge circuit. The electric charge circuit generates a positive electric charge, or voltage, in response to the motion of a moveable portion of the retail store fixture. The retail store fixture can be a shopping cart or other fixture with a moveable portion. The positive electric charge is deposited on a part of the retail store fixture that it is desired to sterilize. The positive electric charge repels bacteria, sterilizing the portion of the retail store fixture that receives the positive charge. A shopping cart, for example, equipped with the electric charge circuit can be sterilized without requiring chemicals or power to be supplied to the cart. Rotation of the shopping cart wheels can be used to generate the voltage. The voltage can be used to sterilize a shopping cart handle, and/or other parts of the shopping cart.

摘要: Disclosed is a system and method for inventory management of a retail store. The system includes a means to communicate with mobile computing devices of customers. When the system for managing inventory receives a data capture, such as a product barcode scan, from a customer's mobile computing device, a request for an informational data capture is formulated and sent to the mobile computing device. The request for informational data capture will use the product barcode scan already received, and an inventory database, to formulate a request for informational data capture from the customer that will provide the system of inventory management useful inventory information. The request can ask for a barcode scan of another product for example, or other types of data capture. The inventory management system updates an inventory database once a response from the customer that includes the informational data capture is received.

摘要: Exemplary embodiments are directed to display systems and methods. A user interface including a graphical representation of a queue is generated, where the graphical representation indicates at least a queue number. One or more databases are queried to retrieve one or more metrics therefrom. The retrieved metrics are converted into a parameter indicating a speed for the queue or statistics associated with the queue operator. A graphical representation is rendered on the user interface indicating the parameter for the queue.

摘要: An item monitoring system including a bladder having a body with a hollow interior configured to be filled with a fluid is described. The system includes an indicator fluidly connected to the hollow interior of the body of the bladder, the indicator including a movable component configured to visually indicate a fullness of the shelf with one or more items in a non-electrical manner. The connection between the indicator and the bladder defines a closed system. Displacement of the fluid from the bladder into the indicator moves the movable component of the indicator to indicate the fullness of the shelf.

摘要: A monitoring system for items in a delivery vehicle is described. Sensors disposed in the delivery vehicle are configured to sense data indicative of a current quality of items stored in the delivery vehicle. A computing device calculates navigation routes for the items in the vehicle and selects among the delivery routes at least partly based on sensor data relating to the monitored quality of the items.
