A power source and processor may be operably coupled to the motion sensor. Furthermore, the processor may be operably coupled to a communication device.

摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for improved occupancy sensing. The methods and systems can deploy various signal threshold adjustments and/or signal analysis algorithms in response to sensed signals having a given quality, such as exceeding a threshold. In some cases, signal thresholds are lowered following an initial generated signal exceeding a first, higher threshold. In some cases, time-dependent signals are monitored using algorithms that analyze the signals for variations that are characteristic of human usage. Methods are disclosed for determining if two motion sensors are observing the same or overlapping spaces. Systems and methods for calibrating motion sensing systems are also disclosed.

The proximity sensor comprises emitter(s) to provide a light beam or light curtain which is basically directed parallel to an active area of the EBSD sensor and transmitted across the active area of the EBSD sensor at a distance selected as an alerting distance for the proximity sensor during collision monitoring; and receiver(s) located opposite to the emitter with respect to the active area of the EBSD sensor, configured to detect the light beam or light curtain and to provide a signal corresponding to the intensity of the light beam or light curtain for collision monitoring.

摘要: Systems and methods for monitoring underwater structures are provided. First and second sets of point cloud data that are obtained at different times are compared to determine whether the location of the underwater structure has changed. For detecting vibration, a series of range measurements taken along a line intersecting the underwater structure are compared to one another to determine an amplitude and frequency of any vibration present in the underwater structure. For detecting temperature, the ratio of different components of return signals obtained from a point in the water surrounding the underwater structure is measured to derive the temperature of the water. Leak detection can be performed by scanning areas around the underwater structure. Monitoring systems can include a primary receiver for range measurements, and first and second temperature channel receivers for temperature measurements.

The operations unit may include a sensor module operatively coupled to a plurality of sensors positioned to detect operation data associated with the application system in real-time. An adjustment module may adjust the operation of the application system. An analysis module may analyze real-time operation data and initiate a specified response when the analysis indicates that a trigger event has occurred. The response may include issuing a notification to a notification device or initiating the adjustment module to perform a control operation to modify the operation of the antimicrobial application system. A remote monitoring center may control multiple and remote application systems. Mobile devices and a control panel may be operable to interface with operations of the antimicrobial application system via the control system.

摘要: An apparatus for separating components of a hard disk drive includes a separating blade mounted on a blade mount and a sensor to detect a gap or seam between a hard disk drive lid and housing. The separating blade defines a bevel edge that can be aligned with the gap or seam. The alignment of the separating blade to the gap is in response to a signal generated by the sensor. In certain instances, the sensor is a laser. Opposing drive rollers are configured to contact a hard disk drive for movement of the hard disk drive into the separating blade.
