摘要: A system for automatically identifying situations to withhold planogram incompliance notifications in a retail store is disclosed. The system has a processor that receives image data depicting products displayed on a store shelf from image sensors mounted in the retail store. The processor identifies a product type associated with the displayed products and determines a placement of products of that product type on the shelf. The processor accesses a planogram describing a desired placement of products and identifies, based on the planogram, a discrepancy between the determined placement of products and the desired placement of product. The processor determines whether a notice-override condition exists. If a notice-override condition exists, the processor, withholds issuance of a user-notification associated with the identified discrepancy. If a notice-override condition does not exist, the processor issues the user-notification associated with the identified discrepancy.

摘要: A method for identifying perishable products in a retail store and for automatically generating offers relating to the identified products is provided. The method may include receiving a set of images depicting perishable products of at least one product type displayed on at least one shelving unit in a retail store. The method may also include analyzing the set of images to determine information about a displayed inventory of the perishable products. The method may further include accessing a database storing information about the at least one product type. The method may also include using the information about the displayed inventory and the stored information about the at least one product type to determine at least one offer associated with the at least one product type. The method may further include providing the at least one offer to at least one customer of the retail store.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for the maintenance of a virtual credit card pool for airline passenger vouchers. An example system includes server(s) that are configured to determine a target distribution of virtual credit cards within the virtual card pool for a current date-and-time. The server(s) are configured to, in response to determining that the current date-and-time corresponds with a predefined restocking time, for each card value: identify a current number of virtual credit cards within the virtual card pool; identify a threshold number of virtual credit cards based on the target distribution; compare the current and threshold numbers; in response to determining that the current number is less than the threshold number, transmit a request for virtual credit cards having the card value to an external server; and add the requested virtual credit cards to the virtual card pool upon receipt.

摘要: Techniques and arrangements for performing data analysis in order to generate connections between merchants. For instance, a payment service may determine, based at least in part on transaction information, that a first customer conducted a first transaction at a first merchant followed a subsequent transaction at a second merchant. The payment service may further determine that a second customer conducted a second transaction at the first merchant followed by a subsequent transaction at a third merchant, Based on transaction information associated with the first transaction and the second transaction, the payment service may create a buyer profile including the first customer and second customer. Upon the payment service receiving a request to process a third transaction between the first merchant and the second customer, the payment service can generate a recommendation that the second customer conduct a subsequent transaction to the third transaction at the second merchant rather than the third merchant. The payment service can then send a electronic communication that includes the recommendation to the first merchant or the second customer.

摘要: A method includes a power supply system receiving a first request for a first quantity of power for a first time period from a first unit. The system generates a first quote based on an available power generation capacity, environmental factors and a forecasted level of power consumption. The system transmits the first quote to the first unit. The system receives a second request for a second quantity of power for a second time period. The system generates a second quote based on the same factors as the first quote. The system transmits the second quote to the second unit. The value of the first quote and the value of the second quote are set to discourage demand in a first mode and to encourage demand in a second mode to maximize efficient operating levels of the power generation sources in both the first mode and the second mode.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for adjusting the costs of assets. A method includes receiving consumption data via a first channel of a plurality of channels. The consumption data indicates an amount of consumption of an asset. The method also includes determining whether one or more predetermined thresholds are satisfied based on the consumption data. The method further includes adjusting a cost of the asset in response to determining that the consumption data satisfies the one or more predetermined thresholds. The method further includes publishing, by a computer processing device, one or more messages indicating an adjusted cost of the asset to one or more client devices via a second channel of the plurality of channels.

摘要: In one embodiment an event likely to be attended by a plurality of users of a taxi service is identified. A location of the event is determined and an end time of the event is estimated. Prior to the end time of the event, a plurality of drivers associated with the taxi service are directed to drive to the location of the event to transport passengers from the location of the event.

摘要: This disclosure describes techniques for analyzing flights and identifying opportunities to provide flights to passengers that might not otherwise be made available. Benefits of these systems and methods may include filling more seats in aircraft that would otherwise go unfilled providing more flight opportunities to passengers as well as increasing opportunities to sell more flights for operators of the aircraft. For example, a charter operator might increase revenue through marketing automation and increased marketing reach they could otherwise not access themselves. Additionally, the system may provide tools for marketing and monetizing an operator's unused aircraft capacity. Additionally, the system may provide tools to move aircraft to areas where a demand will be, for example, by generating and selling flights that move the aircraft in that direction over the time leading up to the demand.
