    摘要: An electrophotographic recording medium which consists essentially of an electrically conductive base and a photosemiconductive double layer which comprises a first layer containing charge carrier-producing dyes, and a second layer containing one or more compounds which are charge carrier-transporting when exposed to light, wherein the charge carrier-producing dyes are dark in color, possess substantially panchromatic absorption characteristics, and are of the general formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is propyl, 1-hydroxypropyl, 1-methoxypropyl or 1-phenylethyl, Z is p-phenylazoanilino, phenylthio or anilino, and n is 0-6, and a process for the production of this electrophotographic recording medium.

    摘要: Relief images or resist images are produced by a positive-working process, using a solid photosensitive resist layer which is applied to a base and contains a compound possessing two or more aromatic and/or heteroaromatic o-nitrocarbinol ester groups and crosslinking compounds possessing two or more reactive groups which are capable, under the action of heat, of reacting with carboxyl groups to form a covalent chemical bond. To produce the relief images or resist images, the photosensitive resist layer is first exposed imagewise to actinic light, the exposed areas of this layer are then washed out with an aqueous developer, the remaining resist layer is post-exposed uniformly to actinic light and finally the post-exposed resist layer is thermally crosslinked and hardened.

    摘要: The invention relates to copolymers which contain a) at least 15% by weight units of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, b) at least 15% by weight units of a C4-C8-alkylacrylats, c) less than 5% by weight units of methyl methacrylate, and are used as thickeners in liquid textile detergents. The copolymers can additionally contain units of a non-ionic ethylenically unsaturated surfactant monomer that are incorporated by polymerization. The thickeners are characterized by high thickening action, high shear thinning and low graying of the laundry after the washing process.

    摘要: A method is described for producing an aqueous thickener dispersion from a monomer composition made of at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and at least one ethylenically unsaturated hydrophobic monomer, (i) an at least partially polymerized pre-emulsion being produced from 10 to 80 wt.-% of said monomer composition, and (ii) the residual quantity of said monomer composition being added completely to the at least partially polymerized pre-emulsion and initiating a radical polymerization. The monomer composition preferably also comprises an associative monomer. The method avoids disadvantages of batch polymerization, such as inadequate batch-to-batch reproducibility and safety problems.
