摘要: A vehicle electronic controller for checking a control microcomputer with a common monitoring IC, which is used in different vehicles. The vehicle electronic controller includes a control microcomputer, which calculates control data to control an actuator installed in a vehicle in accordance with a driving condition of the vehicle, and a monitoring IC, which is connected to the control microcomputer and checks whether or not the control data is normal based on a determination value. The control microcomputer provides the determination value to the monitoring IC. The monitoring IC includes a memory device, which stores the determination value in a rewritable manner. The monitoring IC receives the determination value and stores the determination value in the memory device.

摘要: An adhesive used for bonding a spacer to a face plate and a rear plate constituting an envelope of an image display apparatus so as to keep space between the face plate and the rear plate. Since the adhesive contains an aqueous sodium silicate solution and Ti grains dispersed in the aqueous solution, it improves adhesion and shortens curing time.

摘要: A frequency offset correcting unit estimates frequency offsets in a preamble period, corrects digital received signals by the estimated initial frequency and further corrects them by residual frequency signals. A receiving weight vector computing unit computes receiving weight vector signals by using LMS algorithm. Based on the error vectors or receiving weight vector signals derived by LMS algorithm, the frequency offsets contained in corrected received signals are also estimated and are outputted as the residual frequency signals. A multiplier weights the corrected received signals with the receiving weight vector signals. An adder sums up outputs of the multiplier so as to output a synthesized signal.

摘要: An objective lens (1) for an optical disk, which focuses a light beam from a light source, is designed so that a third-order coma aberration generated when the objective lens is inclined at a unit angle is larger than a third-order coma aberration generated when the optical disk (2) is inclined at the unit angle, mounted on an actuator for inclining the objective lens according to an inclination amount of the optical disk, and used. With this structure, it is possible to obtain an objective lens for an optical disk that has a large numerical aperture and is easy to manufacture and assemble, and in which the third-order coma aberration generated when the optical disk surface is inclined owing to a warp or the like can be corrected by small inclination of the objective lens, so as to reduce a residual astigmatism, which is generated according to the inclination amount, after the correction.

摘要: A coupling lens (104) of the present invention is used for coupling a beam of light emitted from a semiconductor laser (101) to an optical fiber (108). The coupling lens (104) is formed of a single lens, and a diffraction lens formed of concentric zones is integrated on an incident surface or an exit surface of the single lens. The diffraction lens has a positive refracting power, a relief function of the diffraction lens has an approximately isosceles triangular shape, and a depth W of the relief function satisfies the following formula: 0.6≦W(n−1)/&lgr;≦1.0 where n denotes a refractive index of a material of the lens and &lgr; represents a wavelength of the semiconductor laser. When the coupling lens is used as a coupling lens for a semiconductor laser module, the intensity of light emitted from the module is allowed to comply with a safety standard without using an attenuation film or a polarizer, or a control circuit for stopping emission of the laser automatically when the optical fiber comes off.

摘要: A process for producing a tubular article is provided which, comprising winding a first thermoplastic sheet film on a cylindrical member with the wind-starting portion and the wind-ending portion thereof overlapped, placing a metal tube outside the above wound film either (a) by winding a metal sheet with both of the sheet ends thereof abutted or (b) by fitting a metal tube, winding a second thermoplastic sheet film on the metal tube with the wind-starting portion and the wind-ending portion thereof overlapped, fitting a tubular member outside the wound second thermoplastic sheet film, and heating at least the first and second thermoplastic films to bond the overlapped portions of the thermoplastic sheet films. The tubular article produced according to the present invention has significantly improved film properties such as heat resistance (thermal expansion, break strength at high temperatures, etc.), thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, and so forth in comparison with simple resin tubular articles (or films).
