摘要: A sanding apparatus comprises a sanding member having on a lower end thereof a flat sanding plate, and being able to oscillate a drive unit for oscillating the sanding member; a motion converting means having an oscillating arm, connected to a rotating output shaft of the drive unit, for converting a rotational motion of the output shaft to an oscillation motion; and a connecting means for connecting the oscillating arm of the motion converting means at one end thereof with the sanding member. The connecting means permits an adjustment of a securing angle of the sanding member to the oscillating arm of the motion converting means.

摘要: An apparatus for collecting cleaning bodies in a tubular heat exchanger capable of collecting the cleaning bodies with a high collection efficiency against the temporary introduction of a large amount foreign matter such as falling tools in a cooling water system and against the deflected flow of the cooling water from the upstream side. A rectifying member rectifies or regulates the deflected flow of the cooling water from the upstream side whereby it is possible to collect the cleaning bodies without any adhesion and stagnation of the cleaning bodies in the cooling water on V-shaped collection lattices. It is also possible to trap a large article such as a falling tool between a guide member disposed downstream of the collection lattices and the collection lattices, and to introduce only the cleaning bodies into the guide member. Furthermore, the downstream port of a cleaning body discharge pipe opens toward the downstream side to thereby prevent the clogging of the port with the foreign matter or the like.

摘要: A strain detector wherein the efficiency of a detecting coil is improved to improve the sensitivity of the strain detector. The strain detector comprises a magnetic layer made of a soft magnetic material having a high permeability and fixedly mounted on an outer periphery of a driven shaft strain of which is to be detected, and a detecting coil disposed around the magnetic layer with a gap left therebetween for detecting a variation of the permeability arising from strain of the magnetic layer caused by an external force applied to the driven shaft. The strain detector further comprises a metal layer made of a non-magnetic material having a high electric conductivity and disposed in the gap between the magnetic layer and the detecting coil. Or else, the detecting coil has a pair of coil portions connected to each other by way of an intermediate portion thereof, and an electric current flows in the same direction through the coil portions.

摘要: In a reversing switch comprising a substantially V-shaped swinging contact plate provided with a normally open movable contact and a normally closed movable contact, a pair of fixed contacts provided in opposed relationship to the normally open movable contact and the normally closed movable contact, an intermediate supporting member for supporting a normally open contact side of a central bent portion of the swinging contact plate, and a knob adapted to be swung and slid on the swinging contact plate; the improvement is characterized in that the swinging contact plate is formed of an elastic material, and that the knob is provided at its end portion with a pressing member adapted to elastically deform the swinging contact plate. With this arrangement, the swinging contact plate is elastically deformed by the pressing member in association with the swinging motion of the knob, thereby wiping off a bad conductor present between the movable contact and the fixed contact.
