摘要: Systems and methods for producing an ozone destructor are disclosed herein. Generally, these systems and methods include an ozone destructor that has a housing defining an air passage duct. In some cases, this air passage duct includes a first chamber and a second chamber that are arranged so that air is able to flow into the first chamber, through the second chamber, and out of the destructor. In some cases, an air drying mechanism is disposed in the first and/or the second chamber. Additionally, in some cases, the ozone destructor further includes multiple mechanisms that reduce ozone to oxygen. In light of these features, the ozone destructor is capable of incrementally drying and reducing air and ozone, respectively, as they pass through the first chamber and the second chamber.

摘要: Systems and methods for protected transportation of agricultural commodities to preserve quality and prevent moisture damage of the commodities due to increase in moisture content or to condensation during shipping in containers are provided. The protected transportation is accomplished through the use of a thin, lightweight hermetic liner inside a shipping container. The liner is sealed at a first end and open at a second end, and the liner is positioned within the shipping container with the sealed first end at a back end of the shipping container and the second open end at a front, open end of the shipping container. A top portion of the liner is held to the ceiling of the shipping container via an attachment mechanism or via inflation of the liner and/or ribs in the liner. The bagged or bulk commodity is introduced through the open end and into the liner. The liner is then hermetically sealed, and the container is closed. After shipping, the agricultural commodity may be removed by unsealing the liner.

摘要: A ozonated liquid dispensing unit is described. The unit produces and dispenses an ozonated liquid that may be used to clean and sanitize a variety of articles or used in conjunction with cleaning processes and other apparatus. The unit includes a liquid input port to receive liquid into the unit. The unit includes a first dielectric cell for producing ozone gas from ambient air and a second dielectric cell for producing ozone gas. The first dielectric cell is in supply communication with the second dielectric cell for supplying the second dielectric cell with a supply gas containing the ozone gas generated from the ambient air. The second dielectric cell produces ozone gas from the supply gas. An injector is in fluidic communication with the liquid input port. The injector in supply communication with the second dielectric cell for receiving the ozone gas from the second dielectric cell, and the injector mixes the ozone gas from the second dielectric cell with the liquid from the liquid input port to produce an ozonated liquid. A liquid output port discharges the ozonated liquid from the unit. A faucet or spray may be used to control the discharge of the ozonated liquid from the unit.

摘要: A tomato sweet infusion process involves heating sliced tomato sections in a bath of high fructose corn syrup, water, citric acid and ascorbic acid. The tomato sections in the bath are subjected to cycles of negative pressure and atmospheric pressure and then spread on a drying tray. The tomato sections are dehydrated to a moisture content of between twelve and twenty percent, preferably between fourteen percent and eighteen percent.

摘要: The invention concerns a method for making ripened cheese having enhanced organoleptic properties, which consists, during one of the steps of the manufacturing method, in inoculating a dairy mixture with one or more lactic acid bacterial strains, and in a step of ripening the manufactured cheese. Said method is characterized in that it includes one or each of the following steps: prior to the inoculating step, processing the dairy mixture with a process gas comprising a neutral gas or a reducing gas or a mixture thereof to obtain a desired redox potential value Eh which is less than the value obtained when the dairy mixture is at equilibrium with air; all or part of the ripening step is carried out under a reducing ripening atmosphere.
