Abstract:
A server enclosure having a plurality of panels abutted to one another and constrained by a connector having a channel and at least one aperture. Each respective panel has at least one perpendicular portion being perpendicular to a face of the respective panel and adjoining a perimeter of the respective panel. Connectivity media coincident to the aperture can affix at least two panels and a connector to one another.
Abstract:
A corner arrangement for an article of furniture includes, but is not limited to a first core having a first end and a second core having a second end. The second core is adjacent to, and substantially transverse to, the first core such that the first end and the second end form a corner. The corner arrangement further includes a first skin extending and adhered along an outer surface of the first core and a second skin extending and adhered along an outer surface of the second core. The second skin further extends and is adhered around an outside portion of the corner and along either a portion of the outer surface of the first core or a portion of the first skin. The first skin and the second skin cooperate to affix the second core to the first core without any mechanical fasteners.
Abstract:
A lift-off door for an equipment enclosure is provided which comprises tabs on the bottom end of the door that align with slots at the bottom edge of an access window in an equipment housing frame. The tabs extend from a vertical panel on the door through two acute bend angles which are opposite in direction.
Abstract:
Composed element including at least two panel-shaped elements, which each have an edge zone in which coupling means are present in the form of a profiled part respectively extending in the longitudinal direction of the respective edge zone, as well as each including an end face extending transversely to the respective edge zone, wherein said profiled parts allow coupling the panel-shaped elements together in an interlocking manner, wherein at least one of the panel-shaped elements includes an arrangement which hides from view at least a portion of the profiled part formed at the pertaining edge zone at the location of the end face.
Abstract:
A cabinet has a base and a first side wherein one of the base and the first side has a male portion and another of the base and the first side has a female portion for mating with the male portion. The cabinet has a second side, such that the second side may be attached to the base, wherein one of the base and the second side has a male portion and another of the base and the second side has a female portion for mating with the male portion, such that the second side may be attached to the base. The cabinet also has a back for attaching to the first side, the second side and the base.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an edge trim for pieces of furniture, comprising a meltable film. In order to improve a generic edge trim such that the same is more versatile and can especially be mounted on a wider selection of surfaces, the molecular structure of the meltable film contains both polar and non-polar parts.

Abstract:
A surface-covering system and methods for making and using the same. The system includes a plurality of components each being a substantially planar portion having plurality of edges and an upper surface and an under surface. A second portion is attached to the under surface of the planar portion along a predetermined one of the edges, forming a thickened edge that has a predetermined cross-section. The plurality of components are placed edge-to-edge to cover a surface. If desired, the edges can be straight and/or the upper and lower surfaces of the components can be rectangular. Also, the cross-section of the thickened edge can be an arc of a circle. The second portion can be attached to the under surface of the planar portion by an adhesive such as an epoxy adhesive. The component can be made from a quarry material such as granite.
Abstract:
The invention is a wire and cable management system that is an open slot contiguous with a wiring and cable cavity located within and/or along the perimeter of vertical, horizontal or angled planar surfaces such as found in commercial furniture casework, systems furniture casework, movable and static petitions and walls for the purpose of housing and/or concealing electrical communication cables and/or wiring such as electrical power wiring, telephone and data lines, television cables; and the like.
Abstract:
Cabinets are formed by a frame enclosing shelves. The frame has a plurality of openings in the front face of the cabinetry to allow access to the contents of the cabinet. The openings are covered by doors connected to the frame by hinges. Art work covers the doors and frames of the cabinet and is arranged so that the art work is not distorted or interrupted by the division of the cabinetry front between doors and frame. The artwork extends across the door onto a frame in such a manner as to give the impression that it is a single piece of art. When viewed from a distance, the viewer sees the complete work of art even though the doors are operable.
