    摘要: Disclosed herein is an event management server for providing services related to participation in events to an information processing device that performs an information processing task using data provided as an event by a content provision server, the event management server including: an event information storage section adapted to store event-related information; and a correlation information preparation section adapted to acquire details of a user operation, extract events that match the details of the user operation, prepare event data that represents the events in a given format, transmit the data to the information processing device, acquire details of a user operation performed on the information processing device to register for participation, prepare registration information that correlates a user with the event, and store the registration information in a storage device. The correlation information preparation section extracts matching events on the basis of user information that includes the registration information.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided to implement a technique for generating interactive events in a simulation, such as creating encounters in an online computer game. In one implementation, encounters are created based on the players and the environment and allow for interaction that is different for different players. Players can select encounters for interaction and choose how to handle the encounter. Encounters may have one or more objectives for participating players to resolve. The objectives for the same encounter may be different for different characters depending on the characteristics of the player characters. If multiple player characters interact with the same encounter, they may each be presented with different objectives, some or all of which may be competing. In addition, the objectives for an encounter may change depending on how other objectives are resolved.

    摘要: A method and system are disclosed for allowing the sharing of games and gaming profiles between console and web-based gaming platforms. The present system includes a console service through which console games may be played, and a gaming website through which web-based games may be played. Players may play games through either the console service or gaming website using a single set of identity and profile data that is stored in a central data repository. Using a single repository for profile and other data, players may log in, play games, access their profiles and friends lists, and accrue rewards and game credits, regardless of whether they are using a console or web-based game. In a further aspect of the present system, users of consoles may play the same game and same game sessions with web-based users.
