摘要: A system and method are disclosed for removal of unwanted material from additively manufactured parts by application of vibratory and/or acoustic energy. The system and method include a vibratory platform located in a chamber. Additively manufactured parts having unwanted material adhered thereto are placed on the vibratory platform. The platform is caused to vibrate thereby causing the unwanted material to detach from the parts. The system and method may also include the application of acoustic energy to cause unwanted material to detach from the parts. Advantageously, the unwanted material removed from the additively manufactured object can be recycled.

摘要: A method of producing a 3D part using a selective deposition based additive manufacturing system can include developing a first layer using at least one electrostatography engine, determining a first cross-track offset distance between an average cross-track symmetry line of the first layer and a centerline of a transfer medium, transferring the first layer to the transfer medium such that the average cross-track symmetry line of the first layer is aligned with the centerline of the transfer medium, moving a build platform relative to the transfer medium in the cross-track direction to align the first layer on a part build surface, and transfusing the first layer on the build platform using a transfusion assembly to build the part in a layer-by-layer manner. The first layer comprises at least one of a part material and a support material. The first cross-track offset distance is measured in a cross-track direction perpendicular to an in-track direction of movement of the transfer medium.

摘要: Various embodiments may include a method for removing filling material from a cavity in a manufactured component with a connection from the cavity opening to surroundings of the component, the method comprising: holding the component in a movable mounting; moving the component and at the same time removing the filling material through the connection opening; and executing a computer program with a processor, wherein the computer program instructs the processor to: analyze geometry data of the component including the connection opening; and calculate a necessary positioning of the component, based on the geometry data and gravitational force; and direct the movable mounting through a sequence of movements for moving the component in space to spill the filling material from the cavity through the connection opening out of the component.

The conveyor moves the holder relative to the line head in a scanning direction. The stage is disposed on a portion of the holder downstream of the table in the scanning direction and is parallel or substantially parallel to the table in the right-left direction. A medium to undergo test pattern printing effected by the line head is placed on the stage.

摘要: A three dimensional printing system includes a resin vessel, a light engine, and a fluid spill containment vessel. The resin vessel is for containing resin and has a transparent sheet on a lower side that provides a lower bound for the resin. The light engine is disposed below the resin vessel for projecting pixelated light up through the transparent sheet. The fluid spill containment vessel is disposed between the resin vessel and the light engine to capture resin that spills from the resin vessel. The fluid spill containment vessel includes a housing for containing the spilled resin, a transparent window for allowing the pixelated light to project up through the fluid spill containment vessel and to the transparent sheet, and a fluid barrier wall surrounding at least part of the clear window and configured to reduce an amount of spilled resin required to occlude the pixelated light.

摘要: A coloring nozzle cleaning assembly is used to clean a coloring nozzle of a 3D printing device. The coloring nozzle cleaning assembly includes a cleaning tank, a movable scraper and a liquid-absorbent interference member. The cleaning tank includes an opening and receives a cleaning liquid inside. The movable scraper has a contact end placed inside the cleaning tank and immersed in the cleaning liquid, and the contact end can be moved out of the cleaning tank through the opening to scrape against the coloring nozzle. The liquid-absorbent interference member is disposed within an area of the opening, and is located over a liquid level of the cleaning liquid and interferes with a movement course of the movable scraper. Excess cleaning liquid adhered to the movable scraper is absorbed by the liquid-absorbent interference member before the movable scraper cleans the coloring nozzle.
