摘要： In one example, a printing device is described. The printing device may include a transport roller to move a print medium through the printing device, a sensor to detect a trailing edge of the print medium, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions. In one example, the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to move the print medium toward an output of the printing device via the transport roller after a printing to the print medium, detect the trailing edge of the print medium via the sensor during a movement of the print medium via the transport roller, and hold the print medium in a position in contact with the transport roller, in response to a detection of the trailing edge of the print medium via the sensor.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a paper loading base on which manual-feed paper is loaded, a manual-feed paper conveying unit, and a dustproof cover which covers the paper loading base being in the overhang state. The paper loading base has a lower end rotatably supported on one outer surface portion of the device main body, and is opened from an upper end thereof and disposed at a predetermined oblique angle or in a horizontal overhang state such that an overhang side becomes an upper side in an oblique direction. The manual-feed paper conveying unit is conveys the manual-feed paper on the paper loading base onto a paper conveyance path one by one. The dustproof cover includes a base which engages with the paper loading base, and an opening-and-closing cover which is rotatably connected to the base and is opened upwardly on the overhang side.

摘要： A media sheet router moves sheets from a digital printer through the router and selectively to a plurality of finishers at full process speed. A router inlet path is aligned with the printer outlet path. Two router outlet paths are disposed at ninety degrees to the left and right of the router inlet path. The router outlet paths are each aligned with a finisher inlet path or another router. First and second turning elements are each mounted at forty-five degrees to the router inlet path and at ninety degrees to each other. Each turning element directs the sheets in a helical path to the router outlet paths. Transfer belts hold the sheets against each turning element. A bypass transfer moves the sheet to a bypass outlet path aligned with a bypass finisher inlet path. Diverters selectively direct the sheets onto the turning elements or the bypass transfer.

摘要： An image forming apparatus capable of increasing the speed of successively discharging printed printing media in order to increase the overall print speed and a control method thereof. The image forming apparatus includes a first discharge roller to feed printed printing medium rearward from a print unit disposed at an inner front portion of a main body, a reverse roller to reverse a moving direction of the printed printing medium fed from the first discharge roller from a rear to a front of the main body, a second discharge roller to discharge the printed printing medium whose moving direction is reversed outside, and an intermediate discharge roller unit which is provided between the first discharge roller and the reverse roller, the intermediate discharge roller unit including a main roller, a sub discharge roller and a sub supply roller which are in contact with the main roller. While a preceding printed printing medium fed from the reverse roller is discharged between the main roller and the sub discharge roller, a following printed printing medium fed from the first discharge roller is supplied between the main roller and the sub supply roller. Accordingly, since the interval between the preceding printed printing medium and the following printed printing medium becomes shorter than that of a conventional image forming apparatus, the speed of successively discharging printed printing media increases, and as a result the overall print speed increases.
