摘要: An improved pedal assembly for bicycles. The pedal assembly includes a pedal casing. The pedal casing has a top surface, a bottom surface and at least one side edge surface. A plurality of LEDs are disposed within the pedal casing wherein light from said LEDs is viewable through the side edge surfaces of the casing. At least one battery receptacle is also disposed within the pedal casing. A first activator is disposed in the pedal casing below the top surface, wherein the first activator is triggered when a predetermined force is applied to the top surface. Similarly, a second activator is disposed in the pedal casing below the bottom surface, wherein the second switch is triggered when a predetermined force is applied to the bottom surface. The first activator and the second activator are electrically interconnected to both the battery receptacle and the LEDs so that the LEDs are electrically connected to the battery receptacle when either the first activator or the second activator are triggered.

摘要: The present invention relates to vehicle directional signal controls for vehicles of the type steered with handle bars. The control is for electrically operated signals and is selfcancelling. The entire control and switch mechanism is mounted within the handlebar and includes a plurality of cams, one of which is spring loaded and floats. Twisting of the handlebar grip connects the electrical power source to the proper signal which is automatically cancelled upon release of the grip.

摘要: A snowmobile including a warming element at a handlebar of the snowmobile. The warming element is configured to generate heat in response to electrical current driven therethrough. A user interface is configured to receive inputs from an operator of the snowmobile. The inputs include a first temperature input setting a first predetermined temperature for the warming element. A control assembly includes a warmer control button configured for setting the warming element at the first predetermined temperature. A control module is included with the control assembly and in receipt of inputs from the user interface and the control assembly. The control module is configured to, when the first predetermined temperature is selected by way of the warmer control button, direct sufficient electrical current to the warming element to generate heat equal to the first predetermined temperature.

The sensing unit senses the variable acceleration to generate a plurality of acceleration data. The processor determines a first plurality of acceleration data samples and a second plurality of acceleration data samples from the plurality of acceleration data based on two different predetermined sample sizes and a moving average algorithm to correspondingly calculate a first plurality of sample averages and a second plurality of sample averages, obtains a plurality of sample average differences between the first and the second pluralities of sample averages, analyzes the plurality of sample average differences based on a predetermined check algorithm to obtain a derived resultant value, and performs a data comparison between the derived resultant value and a predetermined threshold value to generate a comparison result.

摘要: The field of the invention relates to bicycle systems, especially to bicycle systems adapted for use with smartphones, to smartphones configured for use with bicycle systems, and to methods and to computer software for use with such bicycle systems or smartphones, and to servers configured to communicate with such bicycle systems or smartphones. According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a bicycle system including a bicycle, the bicycle system including a processor integral to the bicycle, the bicycle system further including a battery integral to the bicycle, wherein the processor is powerable by the battery, the bicycle system including a smartphone holder configurable to receive a smartphone and to connect the smartphone to the processor, wherein in use the smartphone holder is attachable to, and detachable from, the smartphone. Advantages include that the smartphone can be charged by the battery, the smartphone can communicate with the processor so as to receive various information such as maintenance-related information of the bicycle system, the bicycle system can investigate the smartphone identity to check for unauthorized use of the bicycle system, the smartphone is held during bicycle system travel which reduces the risk of damage to the smartphone, and the bicycle system shape is more aerodynamic than that of a bicycle to which a processor and/or a battery has merely been bolted-on.
