A handle extends radially from an outer peripheral surface of the scoop body. A gate valve transects the channel and has a user operable finger tab adjacent to the handle for a user to move the gate valve from a first position transecting the channel and obstructing the bottom opening to a second position wherein the gate valve no longer obstructs the channel and opens the bottom opening.

摘要： A container for use in a scale or combination scale, for example, which is used as formatting container includes two or more side walls, whose position with respect to each other is variable. The outlet of the container is closed by two or more opening flaps that are pivotable or swingable and, therefore, can release the outlet of the container. A common drive moves the side walls and the opening flaps. Therefore, a container can be entirely emptied, as blocked or accumulated product parts can drop downwards via enlargement of the cross section of the container by a movement of the side walls.

摘要： A can filler valve wiper mechanism for use with a can filler machine is disclosed. The can filler machine includes mechanism for moving a can along a predetermined can travel path, and a movable filler valve which moves along a predetermined filler valve travel path above at least a portion of the can travel path. A can wiper mechanism comprises a rotating wiper, which can be a common paint roller. The rotating wiper is disposed at a location between a moving can and a moving can filler valve located above the can so that the wiper engages and collects material located between the valve and can. Preferably, the wiper engages the bottom of the filler valve itself as the valve passes the wiper.
