Abstract:
In order to produce a window-actuator drive having assembly and service friendliness, particularly by providing a design which enables the gearbox unit to be easily exchanged, the drive is designed as two functionally separate units. A gear housing, a worm gear, and a housing cover which is sealed off from them both makes up a first unit. A cable housing with a cable pulley makes up a second unit. The subassemblies of the first and second unit can be assembled by means of notched, snap-fit connections.
Abstract:
An improved closing device is disclosed for use in powered vehicle door operating systems, or in other closure member operating devices, either manual or powered. In one preferred form of the invention a rotatable member includes cam or recessed surfaces thereon for causing a plunger to move between two positions as the rotatable member is rotated. The plunger includes a magnet thereon for magnetically actuating or deactuating a preferred magnetically actuated reed switch in order to control the rotation of the movable member.
Abstract:
A winding device for cables which is used to wind cables round take-up drums along grooves provided on the outer circumferences thereof, said grooves formed such that the cables will not cause chafing against the side walls of the grooves, so that no unusual noise is caused or the cables will not be worn severely during operation. This winding device can be applied to a window regulator for automobiles.
Abstract:
An improved door elevating system for use with a door having a plurality of horizontal door panels hinged together at their horizontal edges and guided at their vertical edges between a pair of guide rails. The system comprises means to displace the door along the guide rails and having a door lifting cable secured at one end to a bottom portion of the door and extending along a vertical edge of the door. An opposed end of the cable is wound on a rotatable drum rotatably supported in alignment with the vertical edge. The drum has an outer cable receiving surface on which the cable can be wound. The drum further has a vertical bearing side face and a free side face. The free side face faces inwardly of the door and a cable passage is provided inside the drum and has an exit port in the free side face whereby the opposed end of the cable exits. An adjustable fastening means is provided to secure the cable in the passage.
Abstract:
A compact and thin wire-driving device for a window regulator which absorbs elongation of wire automatically, wherein both ends of a driving wire are wound round two pulleys arranged parallel, i.e. a first pulley and a second pulley, in the same direction; a first gear is secured coaxially to the first pulley; a second gear is adjacent coaxially to the second pulley through ratchet teeth; the first gear and second gear are meshed to each other; and, when the wire is wound up round the first pulley, a slack of the wire is wound up round the first pulley and the second pulley remains stopped.
Abstract:
A counterbalance system for balancing an overhead door installed against a structure of a vehicle or a house, the door having at least one door panel, the system has a longitude pipe with non-circular section cut; a pair of U-brackets having two side walls with one center hole on each side; a pair of torsion spring assemblies received within the pipe, and the inboard end of the assembly being slidingly engaged within the pipe; a pair of connecting shaft, with inboard side connected with the outboard end of each of the spring assemblies; the shaft passing through the center holes of the U-bracket; the outboard end of each shaft being fixed with the side wall on the outboard end of each of the U-brackets; a pair of drums each having a center hole received by the shaft, and each of the drums located between two side walls of the U-bracket.
Abstract:
A cable drive device of an adjustment system of a motor vehicle has an actuating drive and a cable drive housing in which a cable drum that is rotatably coupled to the actuating drive and has a traction cable wound thereon is received. The cable drum, for receiving a cable nipple fastened to the traction cable, on at least one end side has a nipple chamber having a chamber opening and mutually spaced apart chamber walls. The nipple chamber on at least one of the chamber walls has a delimiting element. The cable nipple when introduced into the nipple chamber by way of the chamber opening engaging below the delimiting element.
Abstract:
A threaded drum is rotated by a drive shaft. As the threaded drum rotates, part of a cable is wrapped around the drum, while at the same time, a second part of the cable is unwrapped from the drum. Rotation of the drive shaft is based on rotation of an operator.
Abstract:
The contact-free detection device for detecting the position of a winding drum (2) for a handling door is made up of a cam or code wheel (3) secured to the winding drum (2), inductive sensors (4, 5) positioned near the cam or code wheel (3), and an electronic board (7) including at least one prevention and security module (12) receiving the pulses generated by the inductive sensors (4, 5) so as to ensure the security of the rotation command of the driving axis of the winding drum (2) of the handling door.
