Abstract:
The present invention relates to a scroll compressor. The scroll compressor is configured to have bypass holes communicated with compression chambers so as to bypass a part of a compressed refrigerant and thus to modulate a capacity of the compressor, a middle pressure chamber and a valve. Accordingly, it is capable of simplifying a capacity modulation apparatus of the scroll compressor, thereby miniaturizing the compressor and reducing a fabrication cost. And, as the bypass holes are disposed to be adjacent to each other, an operating capacity of the compressor can be easily modulated with only one bypass valve, accordingly it is capable of reducing the number of bypass valve and of enhancing reliability.
Abstract:
A single screw compressor structure includes a screw rotor and a casing. The screw rotor has a plurality of helical grooves formed in an outer peripheral surface thereof. The a casing houses the screw rotor. The screw rotor includes a main tapered portion having a tapered outer diameter that becomes larger from an intake side toward a discharge side of the screw rotor, and a reversely tapered portion that is located on a downstream side of a maximum outer diameter portion of the outer surface and on the discharge side of the main tapered portion. The reversely tapered portion has a reversely tapered outer diameter that becomes smaller as the reversely tapered portion extends away from the maximum outer diameter portion.

Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of the difficulty in changing the displacement of vehicle scroll compressors, this invention opens a displacement changing control device for scroll compressors that is good for the quick start of the compressor, and can conveniently control the displacement and pressure of the compressor within the set range, and can be used with various kinds of scroll compressors. It includes the case (1). A piston barrel (3) that is used to install the piston control valve (2) that is set in the case (1). An air-intake channel (4) that connects with the piston barrel (3), high pressure feedback channel (7) and displacement adjustment channel (9) that are set on the piston barrel. The piston control valve (2) is located between the air-intake channel (4) and the high pressure feedback channel (7). A spring (10), which has one end that resists the piston control valve (2), is installed in the air-intake channel (4). A corrugated pipe pressure control valve (11) is installed on the center of the piston control valve (2). A balance pipe (12) is installed in the described high pressure feedback channel (7). It enjoys the advantages of a simple structure, good safety and high reliability.
Abstract:
A variable capacity rotary compressor to prevent eccentric bushes from rotating faster than a rotating shaft, and includes upper and lower compression chambers having different interior capacities thereof, and the rotating shaft with upper and lower eccentric cams being provided thereon to be eccentric from the rotating shaft in a common direction. Upper and lower eccentric bushes are fitted over the upper and lower eccentric cams, respectively, with a slot provided there between. A locking pin changes a position of the upper or lower eccentric bush to a maximum eccentric position. Upper and lower brake units are, respectively, provided between the upper eccentric cam and the upper eccentric bush, and between the lower eccentric cam and the lower eccentric bush. The upper and lower brake units, respectively, include first and second upper brake balls, and first and second lower brake balls, to restrain the upper and lower eccentric bushes.
Abstract:
A variable capacity rotary compressor to prevent an eccentric bush and a locking pin from being deformed or worn out due to a variance in a pressure of a compression chamber as a rotating shaft rotates. The compressor includes upper and lower compression chambers having different interior capacities thereof, and a rotating shaft. Upper and lower eccentric cams are provided on the rotating shaft to be eccentric from the rotating shaft in a common direction. Upper and lower eccentric bushes are fitted over the upper and lower eccentric cams, respectively, with a slot provided at a position between the upper and lower eccentric bushes. The locking pin operates to change a position of the upper or lower eccentric bush to a maximum eccentric position. Further, surfaces of parts around first and second ends of the slot are heat-treated, thus increasing a hardness thereof.

Abstract:
A helical-screw rotary compressor having a twin rotor configuration or a multi-rotor (i.e., at least three) configuration with defined compressor induction and discharge ends has at least one unloader piston disposed at said compressor discharge end. The unloader pistons being opened and closed in fine discrete steps by microprocessor controlled stepping motors which drive linear actuators
Abstract:
A method of and an apparatus for effecting volume control suitable for use with a compressor for compressing a compressible fluid, such as a refrigerant of the refrigeration cycle, wherein a suction fluid is forcedly closed while a suction step is being performed and the fluid drawn up to then by suction into each working chamber is subjected to adiabatic expansion during the rest of the suction stroke. The fluid in the working chamber subjected to adiabatic expansion is then subjected to adiabatic compression in initial stages of a compression stroke following the suction stroke only for a period corresponding to the period of the adiabatic expansion. An on-off control valve is mounted in a fluid suction passage and operative to be brought, when it is necessary to effect volume control, to a closed position while the suction stroke is being performed, to thereby interrupt the flow of the fluid through the fluid suction passage to the working chamber.
