Abstract: A connecting rod (1) has a small connecting rod eye (2) and a large connecting rod eye (3). A bearing shell (4, 5) is disposed in at least one connecting rod eye (2, 3), wherein the bearing shell (4, 5) is held in the connecting rod eye (2, 3) for secure mutual rotation therewith. Abstract: A bearing assembly is disclosed, comprising: an outer race and a plurality of rolling elements associated with the outer race. An inner race adapted to receive a shaft therein is rotatably disposed within the outer race such that the plurality of rolling elements are disposed between the inner and outer races. A cylindrical extension forming a plurality of tabs symmetrically arranged around the entire periphery of the extension is adapted to engage the shaft. A clamp collar that is installable around the cylindrical extension is defined by a circular wall with at least one threaded opening extending through the circular wall. The threaded member extends through one of the threaded openings to make contact with and apply a biasing force on one of the plurality of tabs towards the shaft when the shaft is disposed in the inner race to secure the inner race on the shaft.

Abstract: A parking cable has a plurality of plastic split type liners, which reduces frictional resistance between the inner cable and a conduit among the components of the parking cable. The plurality of split type liners is press-fitted and disposed to a desired position in an inner diameter of the conduit. The plastic split type liners may serve as a guide that ensures force for smoothly moving the inner cable and also improve in-line assembly properties. A method of manufacturing the parking cable includes press fitting the plurality of split type liners between the inner cable and the conduit.

Abstract: In a rolling bearing in which one of inner and outer rings is a rotary ring and the other is a stationary ring, a fitting surface of the stationary ring fitted to a mating member is formed in first and second partial peripheral surfaces of a radially outer surface of the stationary ring which faces the mating member. The first partial peripheral surface is formed on one side in the axial direction, and the second partial peripheral surface is formed on the other side in the axial direction with respect to the first partial peripheral surface. An annular groove that restrains creep is formed between the first partial peripheral surface and the second partial peripheral surface. The annular groove has a depth that is large enough not to allow the bottom of the annular groove to contact the mating member when a radial static rated load is applied.

Abstract: A retention assembly for handling cyclical axial loads is disclosed. The retention assembly comprises a bearing, a motor, and a bushing element. The bearing is mounted around an axis of a shaft The motor is adapted to operate the shaft through a coupler. The bushing element is mounted around the axis of the shaft. The bushing element has a hollow cylindrical configuration defining an internal volume for accommodating the coupler and a portion of the shaft therein. An internal diameter of the bushing element is larger than an external diameter of each of the coupler and the shaft respectively. One end of the bushing element is in a contacting relationship with the bearing. The bushing element is adapted to hold the bearing in place through an interference fit with a motor housing ID for withstanding the cyclical axial loads.
