The determined actual value is compared with a specified nominal value and as a function of the difference between the actual and the nominal values, the voltage applied across the induction coil and/or the current flowing through the induction coil is/are adapted such that the actual magnetic flux or magnetic force or relative position value approaches the related nominal value.

    摘要: An amperage control for an electrically operated valve having a coil. A process control apparatus generates a plurality of electrical operating data signals, each signal corresponding to an operating parameter of the valve. A valve control apparatus transmits voltage to the coil of the valve to control the operation of the valve, the valve control apparatus receiving at least one operating data signal generated by the process control apparatus. A current flow is created in the coil of the valve upon receiving voltage from the valve control apparatus. A current senses the flow of current in the electrically controlled valve, and creates an electrical signal responsive to the current flow in the coil of the valve. When the signal created by the current sensing apparatus is applied to the valve control apparatus, the valve control apparatus modifies the operation of the valve responsive to the signal created by the current sensing apparatus.

    摘要: A fluid dispensing device and method for controlling the device are provided. The device includes a housing defining a fluid outlet. A valve controls the flow of fluid to the outlet. A sensor is configured to detect an object outside of and proximate to the housing. A solenoid is configured to move the valve between an open position and a closed position. A controller is configured to receive the output signal of the sensor, determine a characteristic of noise in the output signal such as a level of noise; adjust at least one of a sampling rate of the output signal and an amount of filtering of the output signal responsive to the characteristic of noise in the output signal, and transmit a control signal to the solenoid responsive to the output signal.
