Abstract:
A spray roller system for application of architectural paints coating, includes an extension tube, a spray head mounted on a distal end of the extension tube, and the in-line valve with a trigger mounted on a proximal end of the extension tube, and a roller handle removable mounted on the extension tube adjacent the spray head. The spray roller system can spray and back roll a coating on a down stroke and roll on each up stroke. When the roller handle is removed from the extension tube, it can be used to hand roll sensitive wall areas. With the roller handle removed, extension tube, spray head, and in-line valve can be used as a spray extension to apply coatings in hard to reach areas.
Abstract:
A holder for a paint striping tool as provided than has a plurality of guide pins which allow for engaging a temporary template to allow for the precise painting of single and multiple paint strips.
Abstract:
An apparatus for dispensing a fluid from a source of fluid comprises a roller and a tray member. The tray member comprises a pair of spaced walls having a contiguous tapered inner surface for defining an arcuate recess in an outer surface of the tray member, the outer surface tapering to an outer edge of each wall. Roller mounting means includes a pair of resilient spaced arms, each one of the arms spanning between and interconnecting the ends of the spaced wall. The tray member defines a pair ports spaced along a central longitudinal axis of the tray member for providing fluid communication between the source of fluid and the tray member. The roller is rotatably mounted to the spaced arms for receiving fluid from the tray member and applying the fluid onto a surface.
Abstract:
An apparatus for dispensing a fluid comprises a housing and a resilient liner adapted to hold the fluid disposed in the housing. A fluid transfer mechanism is in fluid communication between the liner and an applicator assembly mounted on the housing for dispensing the fluid on the skin of the user. The applicator assembly includes an actuator movable relative to the housing so as to activate the fluid transfer mechanism when the actuator is reciprocated. A fluid delivery element is held in contact against skin of a user for applying the fluid onto the skin. The fluid delivery element is supported on the actuator to be movable together with the actuator by varying contact pressure with the skin. Each movement of the actuator generates continuous negative pressure within the liner for drawing fluid through the fluid transfer mechanism and collapsing the liner.
Abstract:
The invention includes an adapter for attachment to a paint applicator including a substantially cylindrical body having a fluid channel extending through the cylindrical body; a male thread formed on an outer surface of the cylindrical body and configured for removable attachment to the paint applicator; a first female thread extending into the fluid channel from a first end of the cylindrical body; a second female thread extending into the fluid channel from a second end of the cylindrical body; and a transfer channel extending between the first female thread and the second female thread so as to form the fluid channel.
Abstract:
A device for applying a mixed component includes first and second component reservoirs, a static mixing nozzle configured to mix first and second components into the mixed component, a component passage disposed between the component reservoirs and the first end of the static mixing nozzle, the component passage disposed to enable the first and second components to flow from the reservoirs to the static mixing nozzle, a spray tip including an air inlet disposed at least partially between the first end of the spray tip and the second end of the spray tip, the first end of the spray tip being disposed adjacent the second end of the static mixing nozzle, a component applicator configured to use air to apply the mixed component through the second end of the spray tip, and a trigger mechanism disposed on the component applicator, and configured to enable application of the mixed component.

Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to modular painting devices for painting and/or printing a surface. In some examples, the modular painting devices include a paint cartridge and a handle attached to a roller assembly. The roller assembly includes a housing and one or more rollers rotatably attached to the housing. The one or more rollers are configured to receive paint from the paint cartridge and transfer paint to the surface. In some further examples, the one or more rollers includes an inner roller and an outer roller.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a device for applying a coating, which includes a multi-component cartridge, a static mixing nozzle in fluid communication with the cartridge, and at least one paint applicator selected from the group including a roller, a brush, and an angled spray tip, in fluid communication with the nozzle. Another embodiment of the invention provides a method, which includes applying a coating to a surface with the above-described device. Another embodiment of the invention provides a method, which includes applying a non-skid coating to a surface with the above-described device.
Abstract:
A paint roller device including a holder frame with a handle, a paint container, a paint feeding roller, a paint distribution roller, and a painting roller, wherein the paint container has two hangers respectively hung on two round rods of the holder frame and turned with the paint container within a limited angle confined between locating pins on the holder frame; torsional springs are coupled between the painting roller and the holder frame to force the painting roller apart from the paint distribution roller; the painting roller has a felt cover layer on a foam cover thereof, the felt cover layer bilaterally projecting over two opposite sides of the holder frame for painting corner area on the workpiece.
