    摘要： The present invention is an apparatus for manufacturing interconnected, easily separable, protective pouches, made from heat-sealable material, and adapted to enclose and protect objects. The pouches are made by feeding a continuous sheet of heat-sealable material through a folding unit, folding the material approximately in half, perforating and heat-sealing the sheet across the width of the sheet, moving the sheet downstream the length of the opening for the pouch, heat-sealing across the sheet, moving the sheet downstream the length of the edge allowances for the pouch, and repeating the steps until the desired number of pouches have been produced. The finished pouches are collected on rewind rolls.

    摘要： An apparatus for making bags out of a thermoplastic web has a transport unit for feeding a leading end of the web in a transport direction to a cutting/welding station, tools at the station for transversely welding the web and cutting a bag from the leading end of the web, and a device downstream in the direction from the station for stacking and blocking bags cut from the web. A bag-pulling device between the station and the stacker/blocker has an endless drive strand having a pair of stretches extending vertically across a path of the bag between the station and the stacker/blocker and respective horizontally extending deflector rollers carried on the stretches, vertically displaceable therewith, each extending along a respective axis, and each having an outer surface engageable with the web and freely rotatable about the respective axis. A drive can oppositely displace the stretches of the strands and thereby bring the surfaces of the rollers into engagement with opposite faces of the bag so that the bag rolls off the surfaces as the rollers are oppositely displaced without substantial relative movement between the bag and the surface.

    摘要： A method for forming a tamper-resistant envelope formed of a thermoplastic resin comprises two opposing panels having respective bottom and side wall edges bonded together to form a pocket therebetween. The top of the pocket is open for inserting an item into the pocket. Each panel has an edge portion adjacent the opening. A bead of pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied adjacent the edge portions, and the bead is heat-seal bonded to the thermoplastic edge portion. The edge portions can be brought together to bring the adhesive beads into contact to close the opening. By heat-seal bonding the adhesive beads to the thermoplastic edge portions, the pressure-sensitive adhesive is less susceptible to being opened by supercooling.

The bag has an outermost surface and an innermost surface and is essentially consisting of a material for making the bag which comprises not less than 70% by weight of polyethylene and 1 to 10% by weight of a light shielding material based on the weight of the material, in which a Vicat softening point of the outermost surface is higher by not less than 20.degree. C. than a Vicat softening point of the inner most surface. Further a method for producing a bag is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of, running a sheet for producing a bag; facing edges of the sheet which are parallel to a running direction of sheet to make an outer surface and an inner surface of the bag; heating a portion of the outer surface which is to be sealed in a heating means having a pair of heater bars with keeping a first distance between faced inner surfaces uniform and a second distance between the outer surface and one of the heater bars faced the outer surface wider than the first distance in the heating means, in which the heater bars are parallel to the running direction, the sheet is running between the heater bars continuously; and compressing the portion to be sealed.

The panels are sealed together to close the top in a liquid tight manner. The top-forming front panel has an upper sub-panel comprising a central portion (44) having an upper free edge for defining the rim of a pull-out pouring spout and first and second flanking portions (46, 48) of unequal width lying each on a respective side of the central portion. The central portion is of a lesser height than the flanking portions and is not sealed on its interior face to the overlying side panels or to the rear panel in sealing the top. A reliable seal is formed but there is no obstacle to the pulling out of the pouring spout once the wing portions have been peeled apart.
