Along the axis of the piston, at least one of the two wedging pieces extends up to the lower part of the recess, so as, in the sense of extension of the piston out of the cylinder, to be displaced with said piston.     摘要: Radial piston machine as a fluid pump or fluid motor comprising an inner valving trunnion, an outer cam ring and at least a cylinder block arranged therebetween and having reciprocating pistons, which tilt when the cylinder block rotates. The pistons have spherical heads and crowned piston rings along the biggest diameter or equator in order to create each an oblique sealing plane when the respective piston is tilted. Pressure in each chamber limited by said oblique sealing plane will give rise to a direct transformation of torque and fluid pressure. The valving trunnion has enlarged sealing fields to get a precompression of the fluid between high and low pressure fluid areas in order to avoid excitation of noise. The machine design can be for constant or variable displacement. In case of variable displacement, the sinusoidal curve of piston travel is adjusted for a variable preceeding angle (.epsilon.) by adding a constant eccentricity (c) so that the angle of the separation (.tau.) is shifted in the direction of the extreme values of the piston travel curve, when there are large displacements, or to the slope of the piston travel curve, when there are small displacements in order to get a sufficient precompression.

The blind bores are in communication with drillings which lie in a plane containing the axes of the transverse bore and the blind bores and which extend from the end of the distributor member. The drillings interset the transverse bore that the ends of the drillings opening into the transverse bore are sealed by the pumping plungers.

    摘要: An apparatus for conveying pasty substances, for example sausage stuffing, is designed as a radial displacer piston conveyor for a rotary angle-proportional delivery of substance portions. This is made possible by designing a control cam section controlling the substance discharge as a circular involute. It is proposed to reduce the large and theoretically infinitely high acceleration forces acting on each displacer piston at the instant of the start of its discharge action by designing the involute section of the control cam with a run-up section and a run-off section, each, whose courses are designed mirror-inverted to each other. The arrangement thereof is such that at the instant when one displacer piston runs onto said run-up section, the preceding piston enters the run-off section, so that, during the passage of those two cam sections, two displacer pistons, each, participate in the substance discharge. The acceleration values thereof add up to become zero.

    摘要: The invention relates to the slide shoe arrangement of a radial piston type of machine. This type of machine has a housing with a rotatable shaft and a piston carrier mounted on the shaft. Pistons in the carrier have reciprocal and radial movement relative to the carrier and shoes attached to the pistons have sliding engagement with an annularly shaped, eccentrically adjustable, track which surrounds the carrier. The track has a spherical surface portion with a predetermined radius R1. The shoes have spherically shaped surface portions of radius R2 which engage the track, radii R2 being larger than radius R 2 to form tapered gap chambers between the spherical shoe surfaces and the spherical track surface. The shoe portions may have annularly shaped flanges contacting the track surface through the spherical shoe surfaces. The flanges are resiliently connected to the shoe portions. A modification involves providing passages in the shoe portions which connect the gap chambers with ball and socket connections between the pistons and the shoes.

    摘要: This invention relates to fuel injection pumps of the type employed for supplying measured charges of fuel to the nozzles of an associated internal combustion engine. More particularly, the invention relates to such fuel pumps of the rotary distributor type having pumping plungers which are slidably mounted in radial bores of a rotary distributor and are surrounded by a generally circular cam ring having pairs of inwardly directed cam lobes which actuate pairs of pumping plungers inwardly simultaneously for pressurizing the charge of fuel between the plungers to a high pressure.The subject invention overcomes the above problems by angularly spacing a pair of pumping plungers and the cooperating cam lobes as required for the specific engine application and avoids the undesired side loading by creating a hydraulic counterbalancing force which automatically changes as the side loading created by the reaction forces between the cam lobes and the pumping plungers changes with speed and rate of delivery of fuel. This is accomplished without introducing any added moving parts to the pump.
