The control piston has a seal arrangement that seals the control piston relative to the pot wall including a circumferential groove formed at the control piston and a seal ring arranged therein. The seal arrangement is constructed such that this seal arrangement increases its sealing effect with rising damping medium pressure in the control space and reduces its sealing effect with falling damping medium pressure in the control space.

    摘要: A shock absorber includes a cylinder and a piston. The piston is configured to partition an internal space of the cylinder into two oil chambers and is capable of sliding in an axial direction of the cylinder. The piston having formed therethrough a communication path configured to bring the two oil chambers into communication with each other. The shock absorber also includes a first rod and a second rod. The first rod extends in a first direction of the axial direction with respect to the piston. The second rod has a diameter larger than a diameter of the first rod, and extends in a second direction of the axial direction, which is opposite to the first direction, with respect to the piston. The shock absorber further includes a rod mounting member, which is provided on the first rod, and a cylinder mounting member, which is provided on the cylinder and arranged as offset from an axis of the cylinder.

    摘要: A damping assembly for a structure includes a housing with a first fixed end and a second movable opposite end. A first translatable portion of the housing is slidably movable relative to an adjacent second section of the housing, the former being fixedly secured to a base when the structure is under load. A viscous damper disposed within the housing is engaged only after the first translatable section has first moved beyond an initial predetermined distance indicative of a higher amplitude loading event. At least one biasing feature prevents the viscous damper from operating until the first translatable section has first moved beyond the initial predetermined distance.

    摘要: An injection device, method, and system for drug delivery includes a primary container for storing a drug, the container having a stopper movably disposed in the container for expelling the drug, an injection drive mechanism comprising a plunger for acting on the stopper and an energy source for exerting a force on the plunger to cause the plunger to act on the stopper to expel the drug, the force causing the plunger to accelerate to a velocity prior to acting on the stopper, and a damping mechanism for reducing the velocity of the plunger prior to acting on the stopper. The damping mechanism can include a dashpot or an energy absorbing material associated with the plunger. Alternatively or additionally, the damping mechanisms can include absorbing material disposed between support members of an outer casing of the injection device and the primary container.
