摘要: A counter-flow heat exchanger comprising a heat exchanger core including an inner wall and an outer wall radially outward and spaced apart from the inner wall. A first flow path is defined within the inner wall and a second flow path is defined between the inner wall and the outer wall. The heat exchanger core includes a primary flow inlet, a primary flow outlet and a middle portion therebetween. The inner and outer walls are concentric at the primary flow inlet of the heat exchanger core. The inner wall defines a first set of channels extending axially from the primary flow inlet to the middle portion of the heat exchanger core diverging away from a radial center of the heat exchanger core. The inner wall and the outer wall define a second set of channels extending axially from the primary flow inlet to the middle portion of the heat exchanger core converging toward the radial center of the heat exchanger core.

摘要: Wave-like concaves/convexes are formed on respective flat surfaces of a heat exchange tube, such that crest lines of continuing V shapes in a horizontal direction and trough lines of continuing V shapes in the horizontal direction are alternately arranged and that bends of the V shapes form curve lines. This configuration reduces the stress concentration at the bends in a press-forming process, compared with a configuration that crest lines and trough lines have bends formed in a shape of continuing sharply-angled V shapes in the horizontal direction. As a result, this configuration increases the yield in the press-forming process at a fixed amplitude of the wave-like concaves/convexes and increases the amplitude of the wave-like concaves/convexes at a fixed yield in the press-forming process.

摘要: The device relates to a heat exchanger in which heat transfer between heating water passing through the inside of heat exchanging pipes and combustion gas is efficiently performed. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat exchanging pipes, through the inside of each of which heating water passes. The cross-section of each of the heat exchanging pipes has protrusions and recessions alternately arranged in the width direction of the heat exchanging pipe, so as to extend the flow path for the combustion gas passing between the heat exchanging pipes.

摘要: A heat exchange tube includes a tubular member having a flattened cross-section and extending along a longitudinal axis, and a longitudinally extending condensate drain channel formed in an upper wall of the flattened tubular member. A heat exchanger includes a first and a second spaced apart and generally vertical longitudinally extending headers, a plurality of heat exchange tubes disposed in parallel, spaced relationship in a generally vertical array and extending longitudinally between the first header and the second header, and a condensate drain extending longitudinally along, the upper wall of at least one of the plurality of flattened heat exchange tubes. The condensate drain may comprise a longitudinally extending condensate drain channel formed in an upper wall of said flattened tubular member, and/or a series of condensate drain portals formed in the heat transfer fins in a base portion bounding to the upper external surface of at least one heat exchange tube. The condensate drain portals of neighboring heat transfer fins are aligned longitudinally to provide a series of longitudinally aligned condensate drain portals along the upper external surfaces of the heat exchange tubes.

摘要: The invention relates to a flat tube for a heat exchanger formed by folding one plate or overlaying two plates, in which long beads (16) are formed in multiple rows on the plate in its longitudinal direction, portions of the plate to which the respective long beads are opposed are formed flat, the tops of the long beads are joined with the flat portions (15) to form a plurality of channels (17) by the long beads and the flat portions, and a plurality of passages (18) which communicate adjacent channels are formed at appropriate parts on the long beads formed in the longitudinal direction of the plate. The invention also relates to a method for producing the above tube. Thus, the plates can have their faces securely engaged, and a heat exchanger having an improved heat-exchanging efficiency can be obtained.

摘要: A heat transfer tube for an absorber, including a plurality of crest portions and trough portions extending in parallel to each other in an axial direction of the tube and arranged alternately in a circumferential direction of the tube. The ratio d/P of a depth d of each of the trough portions to a pitch P of the crest portions defined as P=.pi.D/n is set in the range of 0.1 to 0.4; the depth d is set in the range of 1.50 to 2.00 mm; the ratio R.sub.2 /d is set in the range of 2.5 to 6.0; the ratio R.sub.1 /R.sub.2 is set larger than 1, where n represents a positive integer, R.sub.1 represents a radius of curvature of an outer top surface of each crest portion, R.sub.2 represents a radius of curvature of an outer bottom surface of each trough portion, and D represents a diameter of a circumscribed circle of the crest portions. Accordingly, the turbulence (Marangoni convection) of the absorbing liquid can be promoted, the wetted area can be widened, and the residence time of the absorbing liquid can be optimized, thereby improving the heat transfer performance.
