摘要: A heat exchange system for realizing an adequate heat exchange among a plural type of fluids uses a refrigerant radiator and a radiator which are combined to have one unit for enabling heat exchange between a refrigerant and a coolant, and decreases an inflow amount of the coolant flowing into the radiator when coolant temperature of the coolant flowing into the radiator is equal to or higher than a second standard temperature, which is set to be lower than a temperature of the refrigerant flowing into the refrigerant radiator, and is equal to or lower than a predetermined first standard temperature. In such manner, heat from the refrigerant is effectively transferred to an outside air by reducing an unwanted heat exchange between the refrigerant and the outside air.

摘要: A device for the exchange of heat between a first and a second medium with pairs of trays stacked one on top of the other in a stacking direction is provided, wherein a first flow chamber that can be flowed through by a first medium is provided between the two trays of at least one pair of trays or several pairs of trays and a second flow chamber that can be flowed through by a second medium is provided between two pairs of trays adjacent to one another, wherein the first flow chamber has first flow path with flow path sections that can be flowed through consecutively in opposite directions for the first medium, which are separated from one another by a division wall arranged between the at least two trays of the at least one pair of trays, and wherein the second flow chamber has a second flow path for the second medium.

摘要: The invention relates to a heat exchanger for motor vehicles, for example a charge air cooler or cooling liquid cooler, composed of tubes (1) which are formed from in each case two plates (1a, 1b) and have two opposite longitudinal sides (L1, L2) and two opposite narrow sides (S), with one of the longitudinal sides (L1) constituting the inflow side (A) for cooling air, for example, and composed of heat transfer fins (2) or the like which are arranged between the tubes (1) and through which the cooling air flows freely, and composed of collecting spaces (3) which are formed on the ends (4a, 4b) of the tubes (1) or of the plates (1a, 1b), characterized in that at least the one end (4a) of the tubes (1) opens out in the longitudinal side (L2) which is remote from the inflow side (A), and in that the other end (4b) of the tubes (1) either likewise opens out in the remote longitudinal side (L2) or in the longitudinal side (L1) which forms the inflow side (A) or in one of the narrow sides (S). The heat exchanger has comparatively large heat transfer faces.

摘要: A clamshell heat exchanger panel has a pocket formed in an edge of a land portion of the panel so that a fastener can be inserted into the pocket, with its axis in the plane of the heat exchanger panel. This allows attachments to be made directly to the exchanger panel without affecting the integrity of the gas-carrying conduit portion of the panel. The pocket is made by forming mirror image indentions in the land portions of the two sides of a sheet metal workpiece such that, when the two sides are folded together, the indentions cooperate to form the pocket. Openings can also be formed through the land portions of the two sides so that, upon a folding together, the openings define an opening into the pocket.

摘要: A plate and fin type heat exchanger is disclosed which can be made in any convenient size with minimum tooling required. The heat exchanger is made from a plurality of stacked plate pairs having raised peripheral edge portions to define flow channels inside the plate pairs. The plates of the plate pairs are formed with offset, diverging end flanges that space the plate pairs apart. A U-shaped channel envelops the plate end flanges to form part of a manifold at each end of the plate pairs. End caps or plates close the open ends of the U-shaped channels to complete the manifolds, and inlet and outlet openings are formed in the manifolds as desired to complete the heat exchanger.

This heat exchanger excels in heat exchange ability and in facility of manufacture and assemblage.

摘要: A nullheader-lessnull radiator utilizes a radiator core including tubes having end walls which are bifurcated for a short distance from the ends of the tubes and having one or both of the sidewalls in the bifurcated segment of the tube formed outward and adapted to contact and be joined in a fluid tight manner with the sidewall of an adjacent tube in the radiator core. A collecting tank has walls extending partially over the core to a distance beyond the bifurcation of the sidewalls, and joined to the end walls of the tubes in a fluid tight manner, such that the walls of the collecting tank in conjunction with the bifurcated end walls and outwardly formed side walls of the tubes define a common fluid plenum providing fluid communication between the tubes and the collecting tank.
