摘要: Examples described herein relate to a network interface that includes an initiator device to determine a storage node associated with an access command based on an association between an address in the command and a storage node. The network interface can include a redirector to update the association based on messages from one or more remote storage nodes. The association can be based on a look-up table associating a namespace identifier with prefix string and object size. In some examples, the access command is compatible with NVMe over Fabrics. The initiator device can determine a remote direct memory access (RDMA) queue-pair (QP) lookup for use to perform the access command.

摘要: A data storage device includes: a data storage medium; a processor comprising a plurality of processor cores; a plurality of application acceleration black-box (AABB) slots including reconfigurable logic blocks, interconnects, and memories; a host interface that receives a host command from a remote application running on a remote host computer, wherein the host command includes an image file including a register-transfer level (RTL) bitstream and a firmware driver; and a configuration controller that downloads the RTL bitstream to an AABB slot of the plurality of AABB slots and reconfigure the AABB slot, and load the firmware driver to a processor core of the processor. The processor core loaded with the firmware driver runs a data acceleration process of the remote application to access and process data stored in the data storage medium using the RTL bitstream downloaded in the AABB slot.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, devices, methods and computer readable media for enhanced network communication for use in higher performance applications including storage, high performance computing (HPC) and Ethernet-based fabric interconnects. In some embodiments, a network controller may include a transmitter circuit configured to transmit packets on a plurality of virtual lanes (VLs), the VLs associated with a defined VL priority and an allocated share of network bandwidth. The network controller may also include a bandwidth monitor module configured to measure bandwidth consumed by the packets and an arbiter module configured to adjust the VL priority based on a comparison of the measured bandwidth to the allocated share of network bandwidth. The transmitter circuit may be further configured to transmit the packets based on the adjusted VL priority.

摘要: A method includes receiving a FLOGI message sent by a device seeking to log on to a network, wherein the device is in a same zone as reachable devices already logged into the network; in response to the FLOGI message, sending to the device a FC_ID, receiving from the device a query, including the FC_ID, for a list of devices with which the device can communicate, in response to the query, sending to the device an empty list of reachable devices with which the device can communicate within the same zone; after sending the empty list, programming, at least, an access control list (ACL) including information about the device; and after the ACL is programmed, triggering a RSCN message to be sent to the device to cause the device to, for the first time, obtain information about the reachable devices.
