An example implementation involves a computing system receiving data representing a request to play back first audio tracks on one or more first playback devices of a first media playback system. The first media playback system is associated with a first subscriber to a streaming media service and the first media playback system is physically located in a first commercial establishment. The computing system determines that the first subscriber is associated with one or more first subscriber policies of the streaming media service and sends instructions to play back the first audio tracks on the one or more first playback devices according to the one or more first subscriber policies of the streaming media service.

摘要: A transmitting terminal can transmit a content held by itself to a specific receiving terminal having no email software as if using a mailer. The transmitting terminal (10) and the receiving terminal (20) are connected to a delivery server (30) via a network (4). The delivery server (30) comprises: a database (36) for registering the device ID that specifies the receiving terminal (20); a content storage (39) for temporarily storing a content transmitted from the transmitting terminal (10); and table (33, 37) for managing contents separately on a per device ID basis of the receiving terminal. The delivery server (30), when receiving a request from the receiving terminal (20), refers to the tables (33, 27) and transmits to the receiving terminal (20) a content, the transmission destination of which corresponds to the device ID of the receiving terminal (20).

摘要: Systems and processes are disclosed for controlling television user interactions using a virtual assistant. In an example process, a virtual assistant can interact with a television set-top box to control content shown on a television display. Speech input for the virtual assistant can be received from a device with a microphone. The speech input can comprise a query associated with content shown on the television display. A user intent of the query can be determined based on one or more of the content shown on the television display and a viewing history of media content. A result of the query can be caused to be displayed based on the determined user intent.

The communication interface receives at least a portion of a broadcast stream including media data, which includes media samples. The processor identifies information elements containing DRM processing information in the broadcast stream. Each information element is associated with a respective one media sample of the media data. For each information element, the processor also identifies the one media sample that is associated with the information element. The processor further identifies, based on the information element, the DRM processing information for the one media sample. In addition, the processor decodes the one media sample based on the DRM processing information.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method receives a first bundle and a second bundle for a video based on metadata for the video. The method stores the second bundle with a dependency on the first bundle when the second bundle is associated with a first set of control data parameters found in the first bundle that control a first aspect of access to the video. The second bundle is stored with a second set of control data parameters to control a second aspect of access to the video. When the first bundle is selected, the method accesses the first set of control data parameters for the first bundle. When the second bundle is selected, the method accesses the first set of control data parameters in the first bundle via the dependency to the first bundle and the second set of control data parameters for the second bundle.

摘要: The invention is concerned with insertion of secondary content in a time slot of primary content. The primary content and the secondary content are provided to a receiver via a managed content delivery network configured for IPTV delivery. The secondary content may be personalized content, such as an ad. Both the primary content and the secondary content may be encrypted, and decryptable with different decryption keys. Measures are described for pre-caching the decryption key for the secondary content at the receiver ahead of a scheduled play-out time of the secondary content. By pre-caching the decryption key, an interruption in play-out may be avoided or reduced compared to a basic scenario in which the receiver requests the decryption key at or immediately before the scheduled play-out time.
