摘要: Disclosed is a re-liquefying device using a boil-off gas as a cooling fluid so as to re-liquefy the boil-off gas generated from a liquefied gas storage tank provided in a ship. A boil-off gas re-liquefying device for a ship comprises: a multi-stage compression unit for compressing boil-off gas generated from a liquefied gas storage tank; a heat exchanger in which the boil-off gas generated from the storage tank and the boil-off gas compressed exchange heat; a vaporizer for heat exchanging the boil-off gas cooled by the heat exchanger and a separate liquefied gas supplied to a fuel demand source of a ship, and thus cooling the boil-off gas; an intermediate cooler for cooling the boil-off gas that has been cooled by the heat exchanger; and an expansion means for branching a part of the boil-off gas, which is supplied to the intermediate cooler, and expanding the same.

摘要: A system and method for treating water containing at least one contaminant. The system and method include a water treatment module such as a reverse osmosis unit. An electrochemical contaminant detection system is positioned in the waste water stream of the water treatment module. The contaminant detection system includes a contaminant sensor and a water quality sensor module. The contaminant sensor measures the concentration of the contaminant in the waste water stream and the water quality sensor module measures one or more water quality parameters of the waste water stream. A processor uses an algorithm to determine the concentration of the contaminant in the feed water based on the measurements of the contaminant sensor and water quality sensor module.

摘要: A boat chiller system (1) wherein a self-contained externally cooled fresh water supply is used in place of water in which the boat is docked, such as seawater, to transfer heat from an interior space of a boat (4) to outside of the boat. The use of recirculated fresh water eliminates barnacle growth in an onboard water cooled a/c system (2) and/or excess barnacles and other sea life from growing near an external water discharge (12) on the boat as would occur with the discharge of heated sea water in a conventional boat a/c system.

摘要: The propulsion unit includes a frame construction having an upper portion forming a support arm protruding from a hull of the vessel and a lower portion forming a longitudinal compartment provided with a propeller shaft having at least one propeller attached thereto, and a first electric motor driving the propeller shaft. The method includes measuring vibrations of the propulsion unit with at least one measuring device, forming a first auxiliary torque control signal based on the measured vibration signal, adding the first auxiliary torque control signal to a first torque control signal produced by a first torque controller of the first electric motor. The first auxiliary torque signal acts against the measured vibrations.

摘要: A marine water treatment dock box system is provided. The marine water treatment dock box system securely houses a water softener, a deionizer, a high-pressure washer and a selective control system for diverting water for cleaning a docked vessel, for onboard use by the vessel, and/or for high-quality potable water production. The above-mentioned components are operatively associated to outlets disposed along the exterior of the dock box body, maintaining the security and protection of the components. The water softener may be fluidly connected to an inlet to the dock box and a three-way valve for selectively controlling the softened water to one of the following: (1) a high-pressure pump for washing a vessel; (2) to the deionizing tanks for dissolving solids for a spot-free rinse; and or (3) to an outlet to fill onboard fresh water tanks.
