The rotary drum (10) is coupled with a first drive formed by an electric motor, and a compensatory rotary arm (103) is coupled with a second drive formed by an electric motor, whereby both motors are connected to a control device. The invention also relates to a method of controlling the drum inter-storage (1) of yarn at an operating unit of a textile machine.

The yarn (14) passes through the device (1) substantially without tension, and after passing the downstream delivery system (3), is wound. The yarn (14) is loaded with a defined force by position-variable means (24, 25, 27). Position changes of such means caused by a change in the yarn tension under disruptive influences during the thermal treatment of the yarn (14) are used as a control variable for controlling at least one of the delivery systems (2, 3).

摘要： A two-for-one twister or cabling machine and a method for operation thereof, wherein a yarn (5, 25) is withdrawn from a supply bobbin (7, 21) and fed to a guide device below a twisted yarn plate (8, 24) of the spindle (2, 22) and from which the yarn (5, 25) exits virtually perpendicular to the axis of the spindle (2, 22) and is deflected to the outer edge of the twisted yarn plate (8, 24) and runs along the spindle (2, 22) as a free yarn balloon (B) encompassing the spindle (2, 22), until the yarn (5, 25) is fed into the twist or cabling point of a yarn guide device (9, 27) above the spindle (2, 22). The supply speed of the yarn (5, 25) is adjusted to achieve a yarn tension which minimizes the yarn balloon diameter as a function of the spindle geometry.

摘要： A device for adjusting capsule thread brakes in twisting machines having inside the twisting spindle a capsule thread brake has a brake ring disposed on a brake ring support which may be moved against a spring force. On the brake ring support a ring piston is arranged, which is guided in a ring cylinder connected to a compressed air supply line. A first toothed segment with downwardly directed teeth is arranged on the periphery of the brake ring support, and a second toothed segment with upwardly directed teeth is located opposite the first toothed segment. A support stop engages the slots formed between the teeth of the toothed segments during displacement of the brake ring support. The tooth flanks of the two toothed segments are provided with inclined surfaces in such a way that an upward and downward movement of the brake ring support results in a rotation of the brake ring support by predetermined angle values and an adjustment of the capsule thread brake as a consequence of the support stop abutting against slot bottoms at different axial heights. Several capsule thread brakes may be adjusted simultaneously by a central control device with compressed air pulses supplied by a common compressed air supply line.

An adjustable strand tensioning device is mounted on the flyer adjacent the longitudinal axis of the spindle and longitudinally spaced from the end of the spindle and within an envelope defined by the path of movement of the strand material as it is guided by the flyer arm from the package into the hollow spindle.
