    Abstract: System and methods are disclosed that replace shorthand items such acronyms, abbreviations, jargon, slang, codes, shortcut expressions, emojis, stickers, ideograms and emoticons in an electronic message with expansions, which are definitions or meanings of the shorthand items. Based on a number of times previous messages to the recipient included an expansion of the shorthand item, the system determines whether to stop or to continue expanding the shorthand item in electronic messages to that recipient. This may be based on a threshold or other preferences selected by a user. The system also indicates which text in the message presented to the recipient is an expansion of a shorthand item and suggests shorthand items to insert into outgoing messages based on the text of the message.

    Abstract: Various activity tracker and communication devices are presented. Such devices may include a processing unit and a battery unit. Such devices may also include a flexible band unit, that includes a first band and a second band that removably couple with each other and a component housing that defines a top window and a bottom window. In some embodiments, the battery unit may be inserted within a cavity defined by the component housing such that a top window permits the processing unit to be viewed when the processing unit is installed in the component housing, but the top window is sized to not permit the processing unit and the battery unit to be removed through the top window.

    Abstract: Systems, electronic devices, and methods are directed to a self-adjustable heat spreader. A spring system may include one or more spring members and a contact surface adapted to contact a circuit board component. Each spring member may include a thermally conductive material. A thermal spreader plate may be coupled to the one or more spring members. The spring system and the thermal spreader plate may be configured to allow movement, with respect to the thermal spreader plate along multiple axes, of one or more portions of the one or more spring members proximate to the thermal spreader plate when the contact surface is pressed against the circuit board component and the spring system transitions from a first state to a compressed state. The contact surface and the spring system may be configured to transfer heat between the circuit board component and the thermal spreader plate.
