    Abstract: Systems, methods and computer software are disclosed for providing Multipath Transmission Control Protocol (MPTCP) with mesh access. A multi Radio Access Technology (RAT) base station gateway having a MPTCP proxy, proxies an initial MPTCP connection from a User Equipment (UE). The multi-RAT base station gateway determines if the UE is capable of MPTCP to provide MPTCP. When the UE is capable of MPTCP, then the multi-Rat base station provides a Wi-Fi connection and an LTE connection. When the UE is not capable of MPTCP, then the multi-RAT base station provides an LTE connection.

    Abstract: A system is disclosed, comprising: a wireless fronthaul access point coupled to a radio mast and in communication with a remote baseband unit, the wireless fronthaul access point further comprising a first millimeter wave wireless interface; and an antenna-integrated radio for providing access to user equipments (UEs), mounted within line of sight on the radio mast with the wireless fronthaul access point, the antenna-integrated radio further comprising: a second millimeter wave wireless interface configured to receive the digital I and Q signaling information from the remote baseband unit wirelessly via the wireless fronthaul access point, wherein the wireless fronthaul access point thereby wirelessly couples the remote baseband unit and the antenna-integrated radio.

    Abstract: Systems, methods and computer software are disclosed for resolving multiple contexts for a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless network. In one embodiment a method includes maintaining, for a coordinating node hosting a first Radio Access Technology (RAT) controller and a second RAT controller simultaneously, a centrally maintained database; determining, based on the contents of the centrally maintained database, when the UE is registering with the second RAT controller while currently registered with the first RAT controller; and sending, by the second RAT controller, a deregistration command to the first RAT controller the UE was registered with, wherein context is freed and wherein resources held at both the coordinating node and at a base station are freed.

    Abstract: Systems, methods and computer software are disclosed for providing high resolution timing advance estimation based on Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH). An example method includes receiving a preamble signal r(n); performing signal conditioning on r(n); down sampling the signal and performing antialiasing filtering to provide a y(n) signal; correlating y(n) with a reference preamble with a reference preamble sequence c(n) to provide correlation output Ryc; using a peak value P of the correlation output Ryc to detect a preamble ID and a timing advance; constructing a sequence s(n) by segmenting r_centered(n) for length L around an index P*24; performing time domain interpolation of c(n) around index P to obtain a sequence c_interpolated(n); performing time domain interpolation between sequences s(n) and c_interpolated(n); detecting a peak position Q of the correlation; and deriving TA as P*24−L/2+q in terms of Ts.
